Yeah this thread is actually "safe" and is not a touchy subject like most others concerning females on this board.
The topic is for females to express how their significant other feels about their toy collecting just as all of the other posts directed towards males concerning their significant others have been. I for one would like to see how it is from the opposite sexes perspective who might be in the same boat as us males are. I'm curious to see how their significant other deals with it. Do they welcome it or ridicule it? The other day someone posted that their wife took a hammer to one of their figures. I wonder if there are any husbands out there who have done something similar their wife's collection. This is a very good thread and it should be treated in an un-child like adult manner. My brothers, this is all very Shakespearian! One guy wants to talk to the ladies but can't properly place his words. So his friend needs to do the talking to help him get their attention. If you recall that story, it did not go very well. I'm gonna hop on the swamp skier and head out with the alligators. It may be a tad bit safer. I'll check back if help is needed. haha.

This thread WILL stay comfortable, as the first schmuck who feels the need to get stupid because there's someone with estrogen posting here will feel my nerdy wrath. bottom line.
Now I believe the question was: What does your significant other feel about you collecting? The question was directed towards the female members of the board...so males SHOULD REFRAIN FROM RESPONDING AS THE QUESTION WAS NOT DIRECTED TOWARDS THEM. That is all. carry on. |

1. No trolling, or flaming. Any form of personal insult is a no-no. As a basic rule of thumb: if you think that what you are about to post is insulting, don't post it. No posting with the intent of starting "Drama". If you feel the need to start trouble, go elsewhere. |

Forgive the brief interruption. I HAD to echo spacemonkeymafia because that is soooooooo TRUE! Whether it's on-line or in-person, women are intuitive by nature and can detect desperation. Women want security in all five areas of their lives... not just money! Unfortunately, some women are more attracted to involved men because of their secure persona.

maybe if the title was changed so that it asked the question "ladies, how does your significant other feel about you collecting joes?" rather than "are there any ladies on here?" you might get some women to post up.
