I chose death! By the way is that lawn furniture in the backround? When did TRU sell lawn furniture? I'm thinking this is more likely a picture from a Kmart like store. |

We had a Children's Palace in Knoxville when I was a kid, and I swear you could find toys there way past their release date. When they closed in the early 90's, the had Sectaurs toys!

Anyone know where we can find more pictures like that?
You know the real killer of toy stores was Wal-Mart. And, I agree, Video Games. Kids don't play like we used to. |

And, I agree, Video Games. Kids don't play like we used to. Remember how long you'd play with your toys? I had joe wars for hours. My parents had a hard time making me come inside, because I was always up to something. Climbing a tree? Bring Alpine Going to the Beach? Dusty, of course etc. As for Wally*World, yeah, they sure did kill the great "Mom & Pop" toystores of yesteryear. Heck, even TRU got a smack down. Hopefully the 25th line will bring us full circle |

I did a few google image searches for "Toy Aisle" and such but to no avail. However it did remind me of a mod someone did to a Counter Strike game I played a coulpe of years ago. It was a toy store aisle full of Joes and Transformers. When you started the game, you were MOC on a single Joe card and had to break the bubble then start hunting
