I didn't this morning as I was running late (For some reason the Shockwave pack didn't ring up and they had to do a pricecheck) but I'm gonna pop in after work and, if the cards are still there, I'm gonna tell someone.
I already pointed out the missing Prime Cab, but the damn thing is still there, so they probably don't give a shit about him. |

At my local Walmart someone pulled out a HISS tank and actually took the time to put in some generic Humvee toy of similar size. My guess is he put the HISS tank in the Humvee packaging because it's a cheaper price. That Humvee in the HISS box is still sitting there from Christmas time.

I still question WM's return policy. Instead of requiring department manager approval for all returns, they rely on the judgement of some uninformed cashier who got roped into working the customer service desk for a couple of hours. Sure, requiring departmental approval would slow the return process down but it would prevent most of these repacks from ever making it to the shelf. I tend to believe that the toy department manager is the most knowledgeable person in the store about the toys that store carries. Right now when a repack makes it to the shelf folks just say, so and so only makes $7 an hour and is not paid to know everything about every item in the store. They could not make that claim if the process required department manager approval. In that case, if a repack makes it to the shelf we could just lay the blame entirely at the feet of the department manager who was careless and/or incompetent. Too bad WM has no plans to ever toughen its policy this much. |
