In the cartoon no doubt my fave was Zartan, he looked like he couldve been a villian in ANY Marvel comic and his voice was INSANE!!...As a kid when I got the toy, I thought Zanzibar was like the be all and end all Dread. He was kind of jacked, the ponytail and his skiff...just a cool set all around, I hope they release that once their done with the movie stuff!

Even though Zartan is the leader of the Dreadnoks I always considered him more of a Cobra member because he was actually intelligent and worked hand-in-hand with Destro and Cobra Commander a lot. Sounds stupid, but I didn't see him as being a "real" Dreadnok. My vote goes to Road Pig.

This option.
Are you talking comic or cartoon? Cartoon Dreadnoks were stupid and horrible and just wasted space. Comic, they were okay, but not as good as they could have been. A reimagined Dreadnoks, as a Hells Angel/Sons of Anarchy kind of organization, would work great as a foil to the Joes. A worldwide biker gang that smuggles arms/drugs/etc.. It's too bad the Dreadnoks are crappy figures. Torch and Ripper just look laughable. Buzzer is passable. Always hated Zartan as the guy in chage. Just didn't seem to fit with a master of disguise character to be in charge of a biker gang.

I also was a Thrasher fan simply because he seemed to have what it took to be a threat. The Thunder Machine. All the other dreadnoks were kinda basic and harmless. Oh wow! A cutting torch.. oh no a Chain Saw! Look out, this one has a tool most children don't even understand! The Jaws of life!??1!! ooooooo....
Now here comes Thrasher, with a vehicle that could slaughter a squad of well armed men. That! my friends, is a threat.
