Shipping Doc Certificates

While I was sticking on the stickers I realized that this was going to cost me a fair bit with shipping and the 4.95 per fig.

So I was thinking of just going with Parcel Post to cut a lot of the costs. Especially since it doesn't really matter how fast it gets there.

Is there anything wrong with Parcel Post as opposed to Priority?

I know, that's why I was asking about the shipping of the certificate/stickers and money order/check.

At least with Parcel I can shave off a dollar or so. Just wondering how different parcel is opposed to priority.

Phorpus, you should be able to send everything first class, unless you have 150 indi1pt UPCs you're mailing in, and even then you might slip in under the weight limit. I had 15 10point-ers, so I glued them to a piece of paper, folded it in half, took that, the certificate, the check, and Shogi's order form, put it in a manilla envelope, wadded up a piece of paper to make sure it hit the 1" thickness requirement, and sent it First Class with Delivery Confirmation. As long as the package weighs less than 13oz, you can send it first class.

I guess I'll be going with first class, then.
How much did shipping end up costing with delivery confirmation?

Send a message via Yahoo to Shogi
Usually Delivery Confirmation is 60 cents (Unless you're shipping priority, then it's 50 cents)

Personally I'll ship whatever way allows me to use Delivery Confirmation

I prefer priority mail with delivery confirmation. I don't think a letter can be sent parcel post and you cant get delivery confirmation on $0.41 stamp.

Out of curiosity, why send your mail-aways now? The 25th Anniversary Checklist indicates that they won't ship Doc until May. I'd would fear that they would lose your information before then.

You send it in early to make sure you get one as soon as they start shipping.

Exactly. First come, first served. I mailed Mine/Storm.Shadow's in a few days ago

I also refuse to ship anything to Hasbro's clearing house without some sort of Delivery/Signature confirmation. I also make copies of EVERYTHING.

I also ship Priority w/ DelCon.
