The only movie item I like is the night Raven and the single pack snake eyes looks cool. The moto viper is worth getting off e bay to custom paint like a real moter viper. The rest of it i'm not buying. Hasbro like any major company is driven by greed. The fans of classic Joes and Cobras should get some items in 2009 for all the money we have given them in 2007 and 2008. It just seems like the classic joes are getting thrown aside in favor of all the movie Stuff and I am sure we will get more modern era stuff in the future. But when? 2010 ? 2011? Thats to damn long to wait for new plastic crack!

I think it’s all over, at least for 2009 anyways. They scrapped everything and just threw all the figures into the 7 packs. To me the 7 pack feels like a last minute change/thought on Hasbro’s part after they decided to scrub the modern area line. It's a cheaply done grand finally for us. Will we see modern area figs again? God I hope so but it won't be this year. It may be never again and if that’s the case I am out. I don't like 98% of the movie line so there’s nothing left for me to buy. I hope I am wrong but it doesn’t look good.

Wow a lot of negativity here....There was a lot of good stuff on the 25th modern line. With the inclusion of these 7 packs I am actually pretty content with the line being concluded. A good 80 figures that comprise of most of the memorable figures. It would have been nice to get a single card Scrap Iron, Falcon, Jinx, Covergirl, and low light as well but hey you can't have everything....

Yes, how dare Hasbro try and attract new customers who will help support the property well into the future. Damn them. Damn them all to hell.

I love the new 7 packs and once I get them I get to save money for the 30th anniversary modern area line. I can dream right.
