I don't know if the increased prices have been discussed but I noticed a week ago that the Transformers toys' prices have increased and then today I saw that the Joe comic packs went up to $12.86 and the vehicles are up to $18.00 a piece. Single carded are still at $6.97 but I'll bet it'll go up before long. What's up with that? Considering the economy, is Hasbro expecting jobless parents to shell out more money because their kids want something? Or is Hasbro expecting collectors to give up food/clothes in favor of high priced repaints? Stupid, really. Thousands and more are losing their jobs everyday and Hasbro answer to the sagging economy with raised prices? But the auto dealers are lowering the sticker prices and they still suffers. What's Hasbro thinking? Sure, thanks for the movies but we don't want any raised prices to cover budget cost for the movies. In another time when economy was okay, then I won't complain but now, I gotta say. ARE YOU INSANE, HASBRO?

I'm getting really tired of the price hikes. Seriously.

Just you watch. They'll be forced to lay off more people and you'll see these high priced cut down to cheap junk like what happened to those Indiana Jones figures.

I hear you, has anyone noticed that the Titaniums at Target have jumped up to, drum roll please...
$8.19, what kind of joke is that. You can get a Joe or SW figure cheaper than a Titanium now. |

When I started the 25th line, they were no more than the cost of a figure in 1990, $4.99. Now, a year-and-a-half later $8.49 at Target? I'm about to say screw it on the 25th line and stick with vintage. I'm getting way more bang for my buck, even with eBay seller's excessive shipping costs.

These retailers that jack up the prices are gonna hurt their toy sales. A lot of places have not changed their prices. just have to be more selective where I shop now.
