Hasbro should be giving their products away, the greedy SOB's! why should they make money and employ workers and contribute positively to the economy?!? that's ridiculous. capitalism doesn't work. I want communism, I want socialism, if our society was governed by those philosophies we wouldn't have to buy any Joes and Hasbro would give them away because it is the nice thing to do.

Well here in Canada we've been paying these really high prices for a very long time. It's about time you americans have to do the same.

Yeah I figured since the Canadian dollar was now worth more than the US dollar you guys would be getting a huge break. I guess not.

Nah. I think most of the toys up here were purchased when the US dollar was stronger and just warehoused. The retailers here get it twice as hard as people are spending less and demanding lower prices due to the dollar (on goods purchased against a much stronger US dollar).

Supply and demand and we keep demanding them regardless. It won't stop till' we all draw the line, and seeing as how most are willing to bare with it... I don't think they'll be going down. |

im not ever buying a cp at that price, sorry Hasbro. Hopefully enough fans are as price sensitive as I am that it will get dropped back down.

It doesn't really matter how much they charge when the stores don't even bother to restock the action figure aisle anymore. I can't find anything anymore. I'm being forced to buy online & waste even more money on shipping. Walmart did their reset last month & haven't bothered to restock anything.
I wonder how much money they're losing by leaving all the pegs empty. |

I wonder how much Hasbro will make this year comapred to last year. I still like the fact I can go to 2 other places to buy collectibles other than Wal Mart!!

So what I'm not understanding is the rising costs? What would be wrong with reverse inflation. Keep labor the same, keep output the same, but make a pay cut to all across the board, therefore cut costs of production, therefore cut prices, and finally making the cost of living cheaper. Example, loaf of bread 2.00 cost to bake it .25cents for goods, 50 cents for over head, 25cents for manufacturing cost. .50 cents bread company profit, .50 cents grocery store profit. Cheaper bread moving more units therefore making more profit, therefore recovering the economic downturn. I know it sounds a bit daffy but it is something that should at least be entertained.
