Ya know, if they still wrote on the packaging what the various weapons and equipment were, this question wouldn't have been asked.

Sure it would. I don't read that closely & I throw the packaging away. Now if it'd said M-60 on yojoe.com, then it wouldn't have been asked.

The problem with doing this now is that some of the names of the weapons might be trademarked so Hasbro might not want to spend the extra money to aquire the licenses. If you ever noticed some of the weapons are not an exact match to their real life counterparts. I think Hasbro throws in a minor change here or there to make sure they are not exact so that they wont get sued. For instance check out the green submachine guns that came with the comic pack Tomax and Xamot. They are pretty close to being M3A1's but not exactly. Maybe I'm looking into this too much, but it's just my opinion.

I really miss that on the old packages. (sniff, sniff) Of course, since Breaker now comes with Flash's battery backpack, instead of a communications backpack, I think Hasbro just doesn't care enough about accessory details. (Cough, Swamp Skier, Cough)
