Now everyone here in the Tank is collecting Joes of somekind and we are hunting relentlessly. We all have pretty good paying jobs that support our collecting ways. When we find Joes, we usually leave the pegs and shelves empty at most stores. Knowing what I just said:
What if Hasbro re-released the exact same figures on exact same cards and the vehicles in order as they did back between 1982 - 1990's AND have the same amount of quantity on the shelves and pegs AND... AT THE SAME EXACT PRICE!!!!! I mean finding Joes at Wal-mart for 2.27, vehicles for 7.00, Skystrikers for 15.00... Joe base for 25.00, Terrordrome for 50.00, USS FLAGG for 100.00???!!! I mean we get the same figures with o-rings, we get the original 13 first.. and they re-released EVERYTHING within the same time frame and in chronological order as the did in that time frame??? My question to our Tankers.... Would the shelves be BARE? Would the Pegs be EMPTY?? Would it feel like Heaven all over again?? Would you be more BROKE now than you currently are collecting Joes. How many Flaggs would you have??? How many vehicles would you have of EACH??? Can you dream of a second story of your house being nothing but G I JOE???!!!! In my Opinion... I WOULD HAVE A BUNCH OF G I JOE AND I WOULD BE BROKER THAN A DAMN JOKE IF THIS ALL CAME TO LIFE!! |

I really can't go back to the ARAH line after the 25th. If I did I'd but one of each fig, keep them moc and use them as wall paper. I would buy and open the vehicles though. Especially the big playsets.

I would only buy the Defiant Launch Complex.
Would the shelves be bare? Tough question. The adults are hoarders, scalpers, ebay sellers & army builders so they would wipe out a large chunk. But how many kids would buy them? Probably not as many kids would be buying them as there were back in the 80's so who knows? Tell Hasbro to do this so we can find out for sure. Last edited by B.A.T.; 01-17-2009 at 01:43 PM.. |

The shelves would be bare, because Hasbro would quickly go out of business if they sold things at 80s prices.

Alright... as they used to say on the Match Game, that's the definitive answer! Well done!
