I'm a newbie here. I mostly just wanted to say Hi. I haven't purchased any Joes since I was a kid but the 25th and newer stuff really has my attention. Any advise on collecting would be greatful. I currently do purchase Transformers but really want to start getting back into the Joes stuff. The upcoming Movie and Resolute stuff also has a lot of my attention. Anways again any help for a newbie will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance |

All i can say is if you see something you want at the store, do not pass it up, these toy resellers grab everything they can to sell on evilbay. Have fun, the Ultimate packs are on clearance at Target you may want to pick one of those up.

The Ultimate Battle Pack is a great place to start. Under $40 gets you three vehicles, and seven figures. Try to get the earlier stuff first, as the newer stuff will only get easier to find. Buy shelves. Lots of them. CD/DVD shelves are good.

Yeah, deffinatly pick up am Ultimate Battle pack, as it's a Target Store Exclusive, and their all on clearance now. They were at 65-70 bucks just before the holidays and so far, it's the only way to get certain vehicles and figures. (really, all the vehicles and figures are specialised for this set)
Next...Stick with it man! I know it's hard to find a lot of stuff but it's so worth it, and with a bit of practice and some creativity, you can make completely new figures yourself! And a LOT of people on this site are SO F'N HELPFULL!!! (a lot are dicks though too) It's deffinatly worth the time and trouble. For me personally, it's a huge stress reliever. and the HUNT ....oivey...it can be fantastic at times. I was huge into the 80's and early 90's stuff back when it was new, and this 25th stuff blows it away while breathing new life into familiar faces. It's totally worth the nostalgic investment. Especially for the older figures!!! (82-85) Flash (1982) was always an all time fave, but as the years went by, and figures became bulkier...he didn't fit while being a PART of it...This new line makes EVERYONE fit in the way they should have. Seriously bro...Pick up that Ultimate Battle Pack (UBP), then grab what you can when you can. Keep it in the package, or open it up...makes no difference. If you had them when you were younger, no matter what you do with them...have a bad day, sit back with a beer and gawk at what you have...It makes the bad go away. And you can seriously wake up the next morning and be coolio to face whatever comes your way.

I'm new too. I collected back in the 80's. All these pics of collections brings back old memories, stuff I forgot I had. The 25th anni figs are awesome. I have found the best selection at target. I bought a Firefly the other day, but passed up resolute duke and resolute cobra trooper. I'm kicking myself today. If you have the money buy stuff when you see it or else.happy collecting.
