Welcome to the Tank, gents. We hope you enjoy your stay here!
As for collecting advice...not much more can be said that hasn't been said already. If you have the means, try to go after earlier releases as they will only become harder to find over time.
If you ever have any questions, be sure to let us know. You'll be hard pressed to find a more helpful group of people.
Again, enjoy your stay!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I hope Target still has some stuff on clearance by time I can go. The Target nearest me is an hour away. Same with TRU. The Walmart here has the DVD box set that comes with Lady Jay and Roadblock on clearance for $15.00.

Welcome to the tank, matie!
A good tip is-
Choose one side or the other to collect (ie-I only collect Joes really, few cobras, but mostly joes).
Its MUCH cheaper, and when something comes around you want, you will have the extra cash to pick it up. This year is going to be expensive.

welcome aboard. my advice: buy every figure you come across and then open up an online store and sell them $14.99 each.
nah... i'm just joshing you. really, i would say just narrow down your scope so that you don't end up obsessing over EVERY single thing that comes out. falling into that particular trap can be hard on the wallet and detrimental to the spirit.

Welcome! If you see something you like, and can afford to get it, go for it. This go around Hasbro is shorting everything, so more than likely, if you don't get it when you see it, you won't get it later. And, have fun!
