Anybody out there know of any movies that feature or reference G.I. Joe at all? The only one I know of was from the '80's - a movie called "The Boy Who (or That) Could Fly". The younger brother of one of the main characters had a bunch of Joe figures, and I remember that he had a burial ceremony for Duke in his back yard, and later dug him up in the rain. Don't remember anyting else about the movie, except that there was a kid that could fly.

How bout Mannequin ( Hollywood makes a crack about bringing G.I.Joe for a date). And That 70's show always poked fun at Eric's 12 inch Joes........Is that what you meant?????

"Look Who's Talking Too" has a commercial for the Cobra Hammerhead in it. The kids, Mikey and Julie (voiced by Bruce Willis and Rosanne) are watching TV when the commercial comes on. Julie says that she wants a Cobra "Camerahead" but Mikey tells her they are just for boys.

Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. The two main teams are the Average Joes and the Purple Cobras (Who's logo is the Cobra logo).
Well if we are counting Family Guy then Cobra Commander is the head of television. And CC also appeared in South Parks Imagination Land trilogy. |

In die hard 4, bruce willis picks up a spawn figure and asks if this is like g.i.joe. Then he pulls the arm off.
My favorite reference was in a episode of seinfeld. Jerry is dating a girl with a toy collection but she won't let him play with them. He drugs her so she passes out. He then plays with her g.i.joe with the scuba outfit.

in "Jumanji" when they are inside the discount store called Sir Save Alot .......in the background you'll see some boxes of The General, and Retaliators....
In this 80's B Movie called "Chopping Mall" (it's this movie about security robots in a mall that kill people overnight while the mall is closed) ...... anyway in a few seens you'll see a toy department and a storage room ....... there you'll see Dragonfly Boxes and I think some Skystrikers and Gliders And in this Other 80's movie called "Pulse" it has Joseph Lawrence and Matthew Lawrence i(t's about An intelligent pulse of electricity is moving from house to house. It terrorizes the occupants by taking control of the appliances)...anyway , in this movie there's a scene where you see alot more GI Joe stuff then you did in the Boy Who Could Fly, you'll actually see a Terrordrome and a ton of figure surrounding it.
