Anyone have any idea that could make GI Joe popular again because it has gotten to the point when i can't find any GI Joe toys in any stores to be honest. I know the brand is not the most popular right now so what could make it popular again and what is keeping it from being popular.
Ideas:
Make a show and put a lot of marketing into it. Make it serious (Looks at Resolute) and have different story arcs and have it build up to certain things. Make it for the long run. Try to keep it going.
Need more toys. Retailers have to start selling GI Joe's again of course and they need an actual toy line to do it. Now i say they stop making multiple toys per character and give us one toy a character and get more guys on shelves. As well as more vehicles.
A Call of Duty like video game
I know easier said then done but what do you think can make GI Joe popular once more and what is holding it back or what makes it unpopular to kids.

The more we cater to ARAH classic collectors, the less and less kids are going to want to get in.
Besides that, it's basically what people have been saying for years. Better distribution, a better assortment of characters, etc. etc.

I think IMO that ARAH figures will be appealing to kids just like how Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and Megatron are to kids nowadays. If you had updated cartoons and commercials pushing the ARAH GI Joe characters they can and will stand out in the minds of kids today.

Besides that, it's basically what people have been saying for years. Better distribution, a better assortment of characters, etc. etc. | I guess I'm going to get crucified with you because I agree. As long as Hasbro is hellbent on using ARAH characters, themes, and storylines to sell product, you're going to piss off a segment of the JOE fandom that's going to say, "This isn't G.I. JOE." However, if you do a what Paramount did with Star Trek and New Generation with the introduction of new characters, ideas, and storylines, this might be what's needed to revive the franchise.
Or if Hasbro wants to stick with ARAH, they're going to have to embrace what JOE eventually became and what it's best known for and that is a military themed franchise that uses futuristic military technology that could possibly exist.

G.I Joe will never be popular again. I repeat G.I. JOE WILL NEVER BE POPULAR AGAIN! Toys in general are a dead breed. They are getting more expensive with less quality. And let's face it Joe Collectors are the cheapest bunch out there.
