So I was at target today and I finally found a cobra diver, a python patrol CG, and a Ninja Trooper. When I get home I am checking them out and didn't really plan on opening them until I found other doubles. (Yeah I am one of those guys) anyway I was looking at the Cobra diver and low and behold no Air hose. Why?!?!?
ON top of that I got a Flint in desguise figure the other day and he has no sheath to put the knife in, They just forgot to put it on at the factroy. I think Quality control is slipping. Last edited by vtt1jam; 01-06-2009 at 03:51 PM.. |

I've had no problems with any of my divers of cobra flints. When you pay someone a nickle a day to put together 10000 bits of plastic, there will be mistakes.

Gah, that sucks. And the QC isn't slipping, it was terrible to begin with. At least with the Flint, you have an extra knife to throw in the sheath of shirtless Stormy or Scrap-Iron. I hate that they have leg sheaths and don't come with anything to go in there.

As a Walmart employee I can tell you that the service desk associates are basically floormats. If an associate were to refuse a return the customer usually will want to speak with a manager and the managers are usually not into dealing with that stuff so 9 out 10 times they'll just say give them the refund or store credit without so much as asking what the problem is. I worked in the Tire and Lube Express and a customer bought 4 new tires and no protection plan. Within a week the tires were slashed and she had come back and made such a big deal about it after all of us said there was nothing we could do execpt sell her new tires since no warranty or protection covers vandalism. After a talk with a manager we were told to not only replace the tires free of charge but to give her better ones. Its not only the low wages but the constant undermining of associates by management who override the company policies that the associates try to adhere to. Well at least thats how things happen in our store and a few others around in the area.

I worked at a dry cleaner about 10 years ago, and there were these coupons that would come out regularly that stipulated "50% off, up to $10". So people would bring in $75 worth of clothes, expecting to get half off that amount. They would argue when we point out the "up to $10" part, and the manager ALWAYS gave it to them. However, if we gave it to them without manager's approval, we got in trouble. Thus, we just looked like jerks in front of the customer. |
