Today I went to wal mart and to my surprise there was 3 pegs full of wave 3 revision cases. There was also the remnants of a wave 4.So as I was walking around the toy aisle I seen a walmart employee put some joe figures behind some ww2 looking figures in another aisle.I waited for hom to leave and I checked it out.IT was the rest of the wave 4 minus the air trooper.I almost said something to him but figured it would be a waste of breath. Then I thought about saying something to his manager but then figured what if this guy is supporting a kid or two. Then his kids would suffer if he lost his job.The other day when I called to ask if they had any joes he said he had a few and I asked him if the had any Crimson Guard and he said no and that they don't have any Flash,Snow Job or Destro either. So this guy has to know what's up but it sucks cause he's screwing me and anyone else that's looking by hiding figs and possibly horrding for himself or a buddy.I don't in the long run I want to get him fired though.Maybe a good swift kick in the balls fired by some nerd anger could do.Not that I condone violence.Anyways I wonder how many other stores are like this. This is a long winded one thanks for reading and of course HAPPY HUNTING!!!!!

Unfortunately it sucks for everyone that store employees would get 1st dibs. He probably did that so one of his buddy can come in pick it up later. I personally would just move them back over to the joe pegs.

I did move them back to the joe pegs in hopes of a kid or fellow collector getting them.

i have personally seen joes behind elite forces figures at more than one store and took the couple of minutes required to move them back to joe pegs. none of them happened to be the figures i wanted however i thought it especially rude to intenionally prevent some other person/kid the potential joy of walking down the aisle finding the joe they wanted. weither it's done for yourself or friends benifit, your essentially taking the opportunity away from others which just isn't right in my opinion.

Happens a lot. The store I worked at considered it potential theft, but only if it was from one department to another. If it's in the same section, the toys, then he could always claim he stocked it incorrectly. However if they were behind Elite Forces or something similar, they probably did it to get all the stock on the shelves. Sometimes people don't care about putting them together... they just want to get all their pallets unloaded before lunch.
I've always felt the employees got the Joes before we did... that's why all the key figures are ALWAYS gone. That's why I always check around, hahaha... one time I found a tin of McQuarrie metal Star Wars cards behind some Barbie stuff at a K-B Toys. The clerk asked where I found it and seemed a little peeved. I think I raided his stash.

This is the exact reason I have resorted to Ebay to buy my figs. I've been lucky so far and bought Waves 1-3 for about the same price as I would spend in a store and I didn't have to waste my time, or gas hunting them down. It will be interesting to see how a store like Target will handle the supply, and demand for their exclusive vehicles. I personally think if an employee of a major brand store is hiding a product so that someone other than himself, or his buddy's can't buy it they should be fired on the spot. I don't really care what he has to support, there has to be a policy that states this kind of action will not be tolerated. I know it is only plastic toys we're talking about, but it pisses me off. Enough of my rant about this, happy hunting.

Well, sometimes people will stash some figures for other people they know. It happens sometimes on these boards, I think.
And once I found a stashed Crimson Guard with an Obi-Wan Kenobi inside rather than a CG. Which was peculiar. |

you should've told a manager. next time you see that i hope you do. we have to stop jerkoffs like this. it's hard enough finding figs with all the douchebag scalpers but now we have to deal with shady employees like this.
