I completely understand spending money on something you like. Plus, it's a free country so who am I to say a bad thing.
But a couple weeks ago I saw a Nite Raven on eBay selling for $1,800, and today I saw a NIB Snake-Eyes going for $1,200 with a couple dozen bids. Like I said, this is America and I don't believe the government or myself should have a say in what you do. However, if there are some of you out there that dont mind dropping a grand on a toy please let me know what's your motivation (recapturing youth, maybe just completing the collection). Plus mention what you do for a living and how I can enter that field. Thanks! |

I would also like to know what jobs employ these people. More importantly, if said parties would like to contribute to the Hicks Royel Foundation, I take most any and all monetary donations.
But then, you wanna see madness, go to a horse auction. |

Thanks! you know, there are thousands upon thousands of people doing better than you....and there are thousands upon thousands of people doing worse than you. maybe someone looks at you and thinks...."how can this guy spend $7 on a small toy." cuz maybe that person hasnt the extra $7 to spare. like i say, perspective people, perspective. Maybe I didn't read it right, but I think there's more curiosity than whining in the original post. That is, wondering where's the line one sets when purchasing something, in this case toys and what motivation allows one to overstep that boundary on a special occassion.
As for wanting the better paying job, who doesn't want that? |
