Would you take a Equalizer in place of the Con. Maulers?

I'm Just as disappointed as the next fan and have waited anxiously since the week after the convention. Here's my question to everyone out there in the joeverse . Would you take a Equalizer in place of the Mauler if MC could be talked into finding and using the turret mold from the Equalizer. From what i can see from blueprints at yojoe it doesn't look like the peg hole was modified on the mauler body when making the turret for Equalizer. I myself would be willing to take the gamble just to get a tank or tanks from the convention. I'm willing to spend my time and money communicating with MC just so we can all have a partial good memory of the convention tanks than none at all . Its just a idea but i think its a good one.

I'd definitely do it! Have more memories of Equalizer compared to the 0 I have of the Mauler! The only thing is at this point we could only expect them at next years convention, which is fine by me but I'm sure it wont make up for this years to alotta folks.

According to the Collectors' Club, the Equalizer turret is gone, too.

Another thing that's disappointing about this situation is that the GIJCC cancelled the MOTH vehicle largely to focus on the Con pieces, so that's another vehicle we're out.

just out of curiousity where do all of these molds go? they had to have more than one of said molds (hasbro not mc) and is that the reason we get the weird new vehicles? and yeah sorry to get off of topic like that but i think the equalizer would have been a good replacement

well im not sure if its a case of it being gone or unusable. from my understanding they are only able to be used so many times and then there worthless. and it costs big money to retool another. i may be wrong of course

I never heard about this. Does anyone know what the vehicle was going to be?

And I would have loved the Equalizer as I never had one as a kid.

It hasn't been canceled. It was pushed back once the club got the ok to bring DTC wave 4 to the collectors.

Lets hope the wave 4 dtc are not at crazy club prices.

They need to stop being greedy and bring prices down.

I'm still holding out for the MOTH vehicle.

Honestly...I think its time to bury the hatchet on this tank issue.

Again...just my opinion...but rather than beat the club up for not delivering on the tanks (which the fiasco seems to be out of their hands)...I'd rather build them up for the next project at hand. Con set, con vehicles...for next year.

I'm sure they know they got egg on their faces over this whole tank issue...and in no way want to go through this again.

As for the question at hand...I would take any tank at the moment. Bring on the Armadillo...I will buys it.
