I have been surfing around for an answer to this and I can't find any. I was wondering if any tankers know how the factory gets the clear plastic bubble to adhear to the card?
I got some 10 year old TRU packs and the bubbles are separating from the cards. It is annoying. I try to take care of them but the TRU stuff has really cheap packaging. I wanted to keep it all original. Sure I could stick some super glue on it but I wanted to do it like at the factory but I cannot find an proper answer. Please help! Thanks!

Anything to help a Bill Murray fan!
Whatever you do, do not use super glue! This includes any kind of cyanoacrylate "CA" glue. It will discolor the plastic and there is a high chance that the fumes will get inside the bubble and fog up the figure and bubble (white powdery mess that nearly never comes off, and since it's inside the bubble you'd have to remove the whole thing to clean it properly). Non-toxic, dries clear. That's what you need to look for. You can use regular white glue, or Sobo brand craft glue, in sparing ammounts. You can get Sobo at hobby shops, and craft stores. Set them down flat and leave something a bit heavy on it to hold it in place. It dries slowly but it works well. Just remember, don't use this to repack and sell as mint! ;P

Thanks for the warning on ol super glue.
I was looking at some of my new carded figures and if I didn't know better, it almost looks like they use some kind of high heat iron to melt the bubble onto the card. Is there anyone out in the toy industry who would be willing to shed some light on this? By the way Kaisugi, I've seen you on many postings before but now that I got you here, I got to tell you got the coolest avatar on the site!!! Also, don't worry, I have never sold any figures except for this Glenda figure about 6 months ago to this dude in Canado. I would've kept her but I had to pay for a refrigerator. Otherwise, I just collect and collect and collect!!! Thanks again dude!!!!

No worries. I made that avatar myself by the way. <toots own horn>
The bubbles do look pressed on, or melted on. I would bet it's a kind of hot glue system. Martha Stewart might know, she's the expert on hot glue guns. She's got like 10 books on the subject. (oh, and don't take the selling figs comment seriously, just messin with ya!)
