A buddy and I used to play this game when we worked together years ago. One of us would come up with a pairing of two characters, and the other would have to say who "would win" in a fight and justify the answer. The asker would then retort.
Here's how it will work: whoever answers the question gets to pose the next. Feel free to use GI JOE or whatever character you'd like from any universe. Even animals are okay. Feel free to debate out the answers; after all, it is the only way to find the true answer to "who would win?" I'll start: Who would win, Snake Eyes or Batman? Nightwing.
If Snake-Eyes can take Stormshadow (the Hard Master said Snake Eyes was the better swordsman, Stormshadow the better archer) and Batman can take Snake-Eyes, I'd think that Batman's personal protege could probably take Stormshadow.

I must respectfully disagree. As much as I love Batman, I think he might be outmatched here. Yeah Batman is smarter, but SE isn't going to pull any punches, he isn't going to monologue while Batman makes his escape, he is willing to kill his opponent and won't hesitate, he won't put him in some crazy death trap, he'll just KILL him. Batman is knocked out or beaten a lot (which makes him realistic), and he excels because most of his villains want to prove their superiority in regards to his intellect of physique, and he rises to these challenges. SE would just pull out an uzi, DONE. That's the way it has to be in Batman, but SE is a soldier, and he will KILL Batman.
Um, since you didn't pose a match-up, mind if I answer and then pose one? I'd say SS, for the same reasons as stated above. Now, my match-up? Yoda Vs Magneto-- Sure, Yoda has the Force, but he better be careful what he throws! And lightsabers are metal, aren't they...? |

This reasoning, if the SE > Batman argument is considered truth, than this would be true. However, as I said, I disagree. Batman is my fave Superhero, but I think that with his hesitancy to kill and other factors gives SE an edge.
