Official HISStank G.I.Joe Game Designed by Pyroclasm with input from Money-B and Vadersquest.Original concept by TexasDoom 1. All site rules apply and will be enforced by HissTank.com Moderators. Official Forum & Sig Pic Rules *** READ ME*** 2. Game format is one battle per game. 3. Currently, there are no plans for a rank reset between games. 4. One turn per calendar day. A calendar day, for this game, will be from 5 AM Eastern - 4:59 AM Eastern. 5. Each daily turn is worth 1 rank point. These are used for rank advancement. If a player logs on at some point during the turn but eventually misses their post, they will lose one rank point. Players are given one turn per battle to miss for "free" without penalty. 6. Each team has a Leader and a co-Leader. Each team will also assign a different Squad Leader to each battle. 7. Teams will start out with no more than a 1 player advantage. Teams may add new players on a 1 to 1 basis. No team will be allowed to recruit more than a one player advantage at any time. They can have the advantage due to unforeseen circumstances, but not recruit the advantage. For example, if Team A loses a player, Team B cannot recruit any more until Team A is even with them again. A player that is ADDED to a team triggers a +7 HP bonus (per rank) to the opposing team's lowest HP troop. If there are multiple troops tied for lowest HP, the bonus will be applied alphabetically. If the bonus will put the troop over cap, then the HP bonus becomes a new Character. (Name "randomly" assigned) A player that is a REPLACEMENT in the same post as a player is dropped, does not trigger the +7 HP bonus (per rank) to the opposing team. Replacements are done rank to rank, so a Rank 3 may be replaced with three Rank 1 players and not trigger the the HP bonus. The one over limit is still in effect. 8. There will be a break between battles to make necessary adjustments and stat updates. The duration of the break may vary depending on a variety of factors but there will be at least 24 hours between final squad posting and the game start. 9. Players may switch teams between battles without penalty. 10. MIA players are those deemed by their team leaders to have missed too many days. They can be dropped at any time during battles. See number 7 for rules on replacing players. 11. Any player may request in the War Council thread to be removed from their team's roster. The player immediately loses 10 rank points (rank may be adjusted) and may not post in the game. The team will have until reset to replace the player. If the player chooses to return, they do not regain the lost rank points. 12. Changes will be made, as necessary, between battles to maintain the flow of the game. Gameplay Rules: Basic Classes (available to all ranks, ideal for Rank 1): Soldier: -2 to Characters or Vehicles Medic: +2 to Characters or Vehicles Specialist Classes (available to rank 2 and higher): Combat Medic: +2 to Characters/Vehicles (The player has the choice to make it a HURT instead. The player may not HURT two turns in a row.) Mechanic: +2 to Vehicles/Drivers Paramedic: +2 (Distributes healing among any number of Characters/Vehicles) Field Surgeon: +2 Characters/Drivers Demolitions: -2 (Distributes damage among any number of Characters/Vehicles) Heavy Weapons: -2 to Vehicles OR -1 to Characters (Bonus -1 to Driver if a Vehicle is targeted.) Assassin: -2 to Characters/Drivers OR -1 Vehicles Extra damage or healing on a target does not carry over and may not be redirected. Those extra points are lost. If a player does not have a valid target they may apply the following: In case of a Healer class, the player may instead HURT a Character/Vehicle for -1 + rank bonus. In case of a hurter class, the player may instead HEAL a Character/Vehicle for +1 + rank bonus. The syntax for such a post is the same as normal, except you must include something that indicates why you deviated from your normal post. The actual line doesn't really matter as long as it is clear. A player has up to turn 2 to change to another class of the same type (hurt or heal). It will take one turn for declaring (no rank point earned) and then the new class may be played on the next turn. After turn 2, no switches may be declared and the player must continue to post as that class for the duration of the battle. Example: Turn 1: JoeFanDude1 posts as a Demolitions. (He decides he doesn't like it.) Turn 2: JoeFanDude1 declares he is switching to Assassin. (Doesn't earn a rank point and cannot make an attack.) Turn 3: JoeFanDude1 now posts as a Assassin and resumes earning rank points. Ranks: (Bonuses applied as per class.) 1: +0 to class (0 to 15 rank points) 2: Access to specialist classes (16 to 35 rank points) 3: +1 or -1 to class (36 to 60 rank points) 4: +2 or -2 to class (61 to 90 rank points) 5: +3 or -3 to class (91 to 125 rank points) 6: +4 or -4 to class (126 to 165 rank points) 7: +5 or -5 to class (166 to 210 rank points) 8: +6 or -6 to class (211 to 260 rank points) Rank bonuses are applied to both stats for classes with an "OR". Ranks are retained between battles. Vehicles: If a Vehicle's Driver is KO'd, it may be replaced with another Character. That Character becomes a "Driver". If a Vehicle is Driver-less, the Vehicle takes an additional -1 each attack until it is KO'd or until the Driver is replaced. The Driver may only be replaced by the Leader, co-Leader or Current Squad Leader. Drivers: A Driver may be swapped out with another Character once per 2 turns. (May only be done by a Leader, co-Leader or Current Squad Leader.) Once the Driver exits, it is now considered a "Character". A Driver may be replaced at any time a Vehicle is without one. (May only be done by a Leader, co-Leader or Current Squad Leader.) Leaders: Leader, Co-Leader and the battle's Squad Leader for each team gains an additional +1 OR -1 to class. This bonus is determined by class. Squad Sizes: Squad size (total HP) equals 7 times the total number of ranks in opposing team. Characters and Drivers start with no more than 30 HP. Characters may be healed to a maximum of 40 HP. Drivers may be healed to a maximum of 30 HP. Vehicles start with no more than 45 HP and may be repaired to a maximum of 60 HP. Example: Team A has 15 players, each at rank 2, for a total of 30 ranks. This allows Team B to choose any number of Characters & Vehicles to total 210 HP (7 HP x 30 ranks). Team B chooses to have 5 Characters, a Driver & a Vehicle. The vehicle at 40 HP, the driver at 25 HP, and the 5 characters at 29 HP each, for a total of 210 HP. The above method for determining squad size should ensure that games will be balanced between teams and account for increased numbers of players with higher ranks. |

To be fair for turn counting purposes: 1) A correctly written post (all required info) that is made against an invalid target may be edited as long as an HP update hasn't been made. If there is an update, the player will have 15 minutes to repost (not edit) their turn. If it this isn't done in time, the bad post will count as the player's turn for the day. A turn may not be reposted after a reset. 2) An incorrectly written post (missing info) will not be counted at all. It will be up to the person who posts the next HP update to indicate what post was ignored (if any). That player can repost (not edit) any time before reset. ALSO this has changed as well: Proper game post: {Team Name} {Class} {Rank} {Hurt/Heal} {Target} {Amount} Here's an example of what it would look like: Cobra Heavy Weapons 2 Hurt RAM Cycle -3 There is no need to post your timezone since everyone is using HISSTank time.
