2. Game format is one battle per game.
3. Currently, there are no plans for a rank reset between games.
4. One turn per calendar day. A calendar day, for this game, will be from 11 PM Eastern - 10:59 PM Eastern.
5. Each daily turn is worth 1 rank point. These are used for rank advancement.
6. Each team has a Leader and a co-Leader. Each team will also assign a Squad Leader to the battle. The Squad Leader will act as team Communications Officer.
7. Teams will start out as even. Teams may add new players on a 1 to 1 basis. No team will be allowed to recruit more than a one player advantage at any time. They can have the advantage due to unforeseen circumstances, but not recruit the advantage. For example, if Team A loses a player, Team B cannot recruit any more until Team A is even with them again.
8. There will be a 24-48 hour break between battles to make necessary adjustments and stat updates.
9. Trades can occur between battles without penalty. Trades that MUST occur during a battle will result in a loss of 10 rank points to the player(s) being traded. (You can never fall below 0 rank points.)
10. MIA players are those deemed by their team leaders to have missed too many days. They can be dropped at any time during battles. Players that quit or are dropped lose 10 rank points.
11. Battle start times will be a joint decision between team leaders.
12. Changes will be made, as necessary, between battles to maintain the flow of the game.
Gameplay Rules:
Basic Classes (available to all ranks):
Soldier: -2 to Characters or Vehicles
Medic: +2 to Characters or Vehicles
Specialist Classes (available to rank 2 and higher):
Combat Medic: -1 AND +1 to Characters or Vehicles
(This is the only class that can hurt and heal on the same turn)
Mechanic: +3 to Vehicles OR
+2 to Drivers OR +1 to Characters
(This is the only class that can heal a Driver.)
Demolitions: -2
(Distributes damage among any number of Characters or Vehicles)
Heavy Weapons: -3 to Vehicles OR
-2 to Characters
Sniper: -2 to Characters
or Vehicles OR half damage (round down, -1 minimum) to Drivers (This is the only class that can hurt a Driver.)
Extra damage
or healing on a target does not carry over and may not be redirected. Those extra points are lost.
A player has 3 turns from the start of a battle to change to another class of the same type (hurt or heal). It will take one turn for declaring (no rank point earned) and then the new class may be played on the next turn. Once the battle reaches turn 4, no switches can be made and the player must continue to post as that class for the duration of the battle.
Example:
Turn 1: JoeFanDude1 posts as a Demolitions. (He decides he doesn't like it.)
Turn 2: JoeFanDude1 declares he is switching to Sniper. (Doesn't earn a rank point and cannot make an attack.)
Turn 3: JoeFanDude1 now posts as a Sniper and resumes earning rank points. Ranks: (Bonuses applied as per class.)
1: +0 to class (0 to 15 rank points)
2: Access to specialist classes (16 to 35 rank points)
3: +1 or -1 to class (36 to 60 rank points)
4: +2 or -2 to class (61 to 90 rank points)
5: +3 or -3 to class (91 to 125 rank points)
6: +4 or -4 to class (126 to 165 rank points)
7: +5 or -5 to class (166 to 210 rank points)
8: +6 or -6 to class (211 to 260 rank points)
Rank bonuses are applied to both stats for classes with an "OR" and only to one stat for classes with an "AND". Ranks are retained between battles. However, a player will lose 20 rank points for each battle he/she misses. Vehicles:
If a Vehicle's Driver is KO'd, it may be replaced with another Character. That Character becomes a "Driver".
If a Vehicle is Driver-less, the Vehicle takes an additional -1 each attack until it is KO'd or until the Driver is replaced. Drivers:
May only be targeted by Mechanics or Snipers.
A Driver may be swapped out with another Character once per day. (May only be done by a Leader, co-Leader or Current Squad Leader.)
Once the Driver exits, it is now considered a "Character".
A Driver may be replaced at any time a Vehicle is without one. (May only be done by a Leader, co-Leader or Current Squad Leader.)
Leaders:
Leader, Co-Leader and the battle's Squad Leader for each team gains an additional +1 OR -1 to class. This bonus is determined by class.
Squad Sizes:
Squad size (total HP) equals 6 times the total number of ranks in opposing team.
RESERVE PLAYERS COUNT TOWARD ENEMY SQUAD SIZE AS IF THEY ARE PART OF THE TEAM.
Default Characters and Drivers start with 21 HP and can have a maximum of 31 HP.
Default Vehicles start with 35 HP and can have a maximum of 45 HP.
Example:
Team A has 15 players, each at rank 2, for a total of 30 ranks.
This allows Team B to choose any number of Characters & Vehicles to total 180 HP (6 hp x 30 ranks).
Team B chooses to have 8 characters, One at 31 HP, one at 23 HP and the remaining six at 21 HP, for a total of 180 HP.
The above method for determining squad size should ensure that games will be balanced between teams and account for increased numbers of players with higher ranks.
