Biggest celebrity of Joecon 2012: Marauder John.

I had a blast at Joecon, met alot of cool people, but by far the biggest thrill for me was Marauder John.
For those of you guys who didnt make it to the convention, the Marauder Gun Runners guys had an awsome booth set up. They had samples of all the weapons and gear they offer very neatly displayed. They had a ton of figures showcasing all those awsome weapons and gear. They encouraged people to pick up the figures and to play with them, get a feel for thier product and if you wanted to buy some stuff all you had to do was fill out a sheet of what you wanted and the guys would put your order together while you walked around and enjoyed the convention.

I think its awsome how with guys like Niel Ross, Kirk Bozigian and the Hasbro team, more people where crowding around the Marauderinc booth for a chance to say hi to John. It speaks volumes of how awsome thier product is, how friendly the guys are and how committed to our community they have become.

John even recognized my name when I handed him my order. He was busy as all heck, people lined up to ask questions and what not and the man still took the time out to tell me he recognized my name from when I've ordered on his site and that it was cool to meet me in person. I'm blown away by how cool that was.

John, Im a fan for life brother! Keep up the great work and thank you and your team for all the awsome guns and gear you've made for us over the years.

Wow I was just on his sight. I'm going to pick up some stuff just due to his reputation alone. I hear nothing but good things.

Never been to a con but hope to make one eventually, and for storied like this alone it seems to be more than worthwhile. Everything I've ordered from the gunrunners has been top notch. Nice to hear you got a nice face to face meeting.

Very true! Marauder John is a class act and a hell of a good businessman, with quality products as well. From what I gather, he is at most joecons with that same booth set up. When I went to joecon 2010 in Providence, I wore my Cobra Commander costume on Saturday during the show. When I walked by MJ's booth, called out to me with a friendly "Hey commander! Here- you're not really Cobra Commander without a Megatron!" and promptly handed me a tiny 1/18th scale Walther P.38 pistol! I was so pleased by his generosity and great attitude that I wound up coming back to the booth an hour or so later and spending ~$50 on various weapons, supplies, barbed wire, and furniture.

Also, this is pretty common knowledge but anyone interested in ordering from Marauder inc. throws in at least 1 free random weapon (MJ's choice) per order.

That is a cool-looking booth set-up. I love their stuff! If several months go by and I don't place an order, I go through withdrawals and place one just because!

Only had one small transaction with him, but had a few questions and their online customer service was superior. Answered all my email questions in a quick and friendly fashion. Some etailers don't even respond.
