I Ride with Claymore!!!

Cobra certainly needs more named agents. There are a few who I think are worth noting: the Baroness, Dr. Mindbender, Copperhead, Major Bludd, Scrap Iron, Metal Head, Fire Fly, Wild Weasel, General Mayhem, Overlord, Vipra, Raptor... wait, I said WORTH mentioning. Sorry about that last one.
Anyway, I completely agree on this point. Cobra could use a crack squad of commandos with no real sense of honor or duty to anyone or anything except Cobra and themselves. Mercs with more elite military training, or maybe disenfranchised U.S. special operators like Lt. Clay Moore. Sort of like some of the villains in "Commando". Id like to see Fire Fly lead a squad of assasins/sappers. And I'd like to see Major Bludd do something a little more commando-like with Python Patrol.
How about Murdock from "McGyver"? ... not to be confused with Murdock, the comedy genus from "The A-Team".
Or Ed Harris' character and team from "The Rock" ?
And if we're going to allow for Bond (no matter which Bond we may each prefer), why not some of Bond's villains like Jaws or Oddjob?
What about Bruce Willis' character in "The Jackal" ?
Or Patrick Swayze's character in "Point Break"?
Why aren't there more Joes from the Deep South?
And would it kill Hasbro to give us a Marine Corps Officer?

The Jackal would make a great Cobra agent. I don't know if Ed Harris would, but the team he uses in the Rock would, they end up being mercenaries in the end and take him and his XO out.
The Plague was intended to be this kind of unit, I think. It's too bad it never happened.
I was happy when Copperhead, Wild Weasel, Scrap-Iron, Firefly and Zarana were used as the Phoenix Guard in America's Elite. It finally showed the "elite" status of these characters (mostly Copperhead, Wild Weasel and Scrap-Iron). These guys are supposed to be on-par skill-wise with the Joes.
Not all the highly-skilled operators are moral people, some would end up mercenaries. I'm sure there are a bunch of guys in Leavenworth that would love to be Cobras.
Asad Khalil from Nelson Demille's The Lion's Game would make a great Cobra assassin.

Ok my two cents here...... I have already made a Rambo custom, and A-Team customs, and a Dutch from Predator custom. As well as using the Marvel Showdown figures in my Joe universe and soon the new marvel Univers figures as well. Basically for those I just used the Initiative story line and all heroes are assigned to the Joes although they don't get used much, LOL. So on to my list...
Anyone remember these? If you don't search the net and pick these up.....great reads and they do crossovers with each other in a few books.
The A-Team---Hannibal, Face, BA, and Murdock
Airwolf: Stringfellow Hawke and the helicopter only
Magnum P.I.---Magnum, he was Special Forces I believe.
Streethawk-- Jesse Mach and Streethawk.
Blue Thunder--the helicopter and Roy Schneider----could also fight man eating Great Whites!!!
MacGyver---Although he didn't like guns.
Die Hard: John McClain
Rambo: John Rambo
Predator: Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer since he was the only one to survive.
RoboCop: Robocop, I mean we have Robo Joe, and Sci-Fi actually looks like Robocop, and Marauder John now sells the Auto 9, I mean come on.
War---Jet Li and Jason Statham
Lethal Weapon---John Riggs
James Bond--- I have liked all the versions so take your pick
Rush Hour---Jackie Chan
American Ninja--Sgt Joe Armstrong and Sgt Curtis Jackson.
Big Trouble in Little China----everyone in it, LOL... I could see Lo Pan selling stuff to Cobra, LOL.
Bourne Identity--Jason Bourne
Green Berets--John Wayne
The Dirty Dozen---all of them
Blackhawk Down---again all of them
Delta Force---gotta have Chuck
Stonecold Steve Austin
The Ultimate Warrior---isn't that a given? LOL
All of them....why not I already do

I remember the Mack Bolan books and his teams: Phoenix Force and Able Team. I used to have a Phoenix Force book. Had forgotten all about those.

I'd love to see Thunderbolt Ross and SHIELD's Clay Quartermain join the Joes and command a charged with bringing in the Hulk (and face off against the combined forces of the Leader and Cobra).
And Nikolai Volkoff should've joined the Oktober Guard, to face off against Sgt. Slaughter.

Dorothy Gail. She could be an expert on Cobra-La, and have contacts with anti-Golobulous freedom fighters in the outer zones of Cobra-La territory. Could occasionaly be accompanied by one of Golobulous's former experiment victims who has a metallic bio-steel exoskeleton. He'd be code named Tin Man. (You can see where I'm going with this.)

What about; Capt. Father Francis J. Mulcahy from M.A.S.H. The G.I. JOE team should have a chaplain to raise the morale of the troops.
