ANY battle corp figure that came with neon yellow accessories. That automatically disqualified them for any special ops...seriously.

No, let me re-state that. I REALLY, REALLY hate Wraith. Stupid figure!!!!!!! His arm cables broke off when I was trying to simply pose his arm, and that stupid machine gun won't fit into his hand. What was Hasbro smoking when they designed that figure? Yuck! |

How about Static Line's giant pizza-pan with a gun stuck in the middle of it or whatever it was? Would you want to jump out of an airplane armed with that? "We want you to test this prototype weapon-we call it the Hell-Platter."

That Saw Viper gun was the dumbest damn thing I had ever seen as a kid. My friend on the other hand swore by it. I would say "that things too big to run with, his ass will get shot." and he would reply "no, the length of the gun gives it better accuracy and can hit anything and hit it repeatedly until it's dead". To him, the size of the enormous gun held all of its powers. So when we would play, the Saw Viper was an invincible Super Hero on the battle field with his ridiculous sized gun easily killing all of my people from a long distance while I just stood there and watched. He wouldn't even use his other Joes, just that gun. Man that was bull crap playing with that kid with that gun.

25th Wraith weapon .. after 25 years, Hasbro can't make a gun that fits in his hand ... cables break on his elbows too.

I hated that thing. It looked like some sort of crustacean!
There was also a spinning type thing that launched a circular fan-blade type thing. It was actually kinda cool as a kid, but a totally stupid weapon. How could ANYONE aim a flying helicopter disc like that? I'm trying to find who it was that came with it... *EDIT* Roadblock came with one of them (and it got discontinued/recalled if I'm not mistaken) but someone else had one that actually hurt if you wound it too tight... It would snap and zip your fingers good!... I'm scouring YoJoe to see if I can find it. http://www.yojoe.com/action/92/roadblock4.shtml Last edited by Mandingo Rex; 11-16-2008 at 04:45 PM.. |

YOJOE.COM | Mega-Marine Gung-Ho
In searching YoJoe, I found this... Moldable bio-armor? WTF? Obviously this didn't sell to the kid version of me, as it's totally ridiculous and I didn't like it then. I sure as hell think it's even dumber now. Last edited by Mandingo Rex; 11-16-2008 at 05:03 PM.. |
