Have you ever looked at how much some people are paying for joes? The assualt on Cobra Island just went for almost $100. Sometimes I tell myself in the end they are just toys.
How do you decide what your cut off point is? I have pretty much limited myself to only things I want. Most times 1 open and 1 for card. Sometimes I end up with a few extra on card. I just recently started getting into troop building but I don't plan to go over board with it. Your thoughts on how you or your significant other controls your spending? |

I troop build, but only limit myself to a couple (2-5 max) & only the ones I like. (Blueshirts are the excepotion I got a sh it load of them.)
I get why some people like mib but I never want to be that collector, because I'd rather have the toy than the box. Not putting anyone down who enjoys that. To much: If family & friends have been lost in Toy avalanches & not been recovered then that too much. |

If you can't buy groceries and the power gets cut off. I don't have room for vehicles, only jets. They hang on the ceiling.

I won't pay more than production costs of a figure. Profit is scalping.

I think it depends on the person. I can't see paying $60 for a Zarana...that's why I'm going to wait around until I find a great deal. Are you collecting MOC or Loose. That is something to consider.
I think a good thing to is to limit yourself to what you really like. Make a list and follow it. Stick with it.

I was up around $180 bidding on a built to rule grizzly tank when I finally gave up. I don't know how I got there, lol. I just knew it was time to stop bidding. Call me a quitter if you want, it just became too rich for my blood, lol!

I don't have an answer for this. Lately I catch myself thinking about paying $50 for an exclusive as reasonable and then I slap myself and remind myself its a tiny piece of plastic. I got into collecting these because I saw Dragon Storm Shadow in walmart for $4. For $4 I got to mess with a figure I never got to have as a child and it was badass. From that point on though forget it, I've just been buying stuff and most of the time I can't really justify what the hell I am buying.

I feel you. Sometimes I think I'm just addicted to winning.
