I have had my "pile of loot" set up since I've started collecting my 25th Joes on line instead of dealing with store hassles. Anyhow, I was pretty loaded up and wanted my stuff shipped since I had a few things that I wanted to open up. So I opted to ship my loot. Anyhow my order arrived today. Needless to say my "pile of loot" was a "pile of poop"! Wave 6-8 were all on re-issue cards with the yellow backgrounds. This really ticks me off, because I know that these were released about a month ago and my orders were placed several months ago. I'm really pissed off here guys. If I wanted all re-issues I would have gone to Target and loaded up for $4.99. WTF?? Word to the wise, "pile of loot" is a pile of crap! Any suggestions boys?

Oh and to top the cake, harder to find figures like Bludd and Armoured CC are both in REALLY bad shape. Come on I ordered a case for cry eye! I know they were not like that out of the case. These were laying around for a while.

That's not good. Call them and see what they got to say about it.

They state plainly that there are multiple versions of the cards and no guarentees are made as to which you will receive. The concept of FIFO explains why you are receiving the latest versions.
Pile of loot is a neat concept, not the end all be all, but still pretty handy. |

That's what you get for letting stuff sit that long, sorry, but it's true.
Pile of loot is a great thing, but it does have it's drawbacks. I don't think I read anywhere about pile of loot taking things and holding them in a box for you. So that Wave 6 and 8 would get filled from what they have on the shelves. All pile of loot says it that out of the 8 Major Bludds they have in the warehouse, 1 of those is marked for you and the other 7 can be sold. The longer you hold stuff in pile of loot, the more you'll get the stuff that just sits there. Now unless the case you orderd specifically says it came on the 25th cards, it's not BBTS's fault cause you waited. They filled the order like they said they would. And again, chances are they had to break into a case to fill an order that was shipping immediately (which then gets priority) and as such, your case was made of stuff laying around. I figure pile of loot is really only good for stuff that you will have on hold for a month or two. Like you order wave 11 and wait and order wave 12 before you have both ship. Sorry you're unhappy, but I don't think it's something wrong with pile of loot so much as what you thought it was going to be.

PLEASE NOTE: Hasbro has released some of the figures in this case in the past, so there are two different versions of the packaging - one with the silver/foil border and lettering & 25th Anniversary logo, and one with the white border & lettering and a TV or Comic logo in the upper right corner. The differences are minor and the figures are exactly the same. It is safe to assume that any figure originally found in Waves 1 through 7, that is included in this case, will be shipped with the new white border packaging, and all figures wave 8 and beyond have only been released in the new white border packaging. All cases are sealed, direct from Hasbro, and contain the exact assortment and packaging styles that Hasbro has planned.
This was not stated on the orders that I placed. When I placed them long ago, the yellow backs were not even in production. I can understand wave 8, but 6,7 should be first issues. Besides I orded cases of these waves. That means a case should have been held with my name on it when they first arrived. Not "oh crap" lets fill his order with re-issues. Wave 10 and 11 were both shipped sealed in cases. Wave 6-8 were not. |

"**** - Please note - All cases are factory sealed and items packed inside are not inspected. We can not guarantee packaging condition of individual items packed within the case."
How did your shipment arrive? Were the wave 6/8 loose. Did you order them as Hasbro direct cases or BBTS revision cases? Again, and it sucks, I think it's an issue of waiting too long to get it shipped.

If your unhappy with BBTS just call them. Posting threads like this before you even talk to somebody and give them a chance to explain is not cool.

That's the thing, they were shipped loose, when they should have been in sealed cases as I ordered cases not single figures. |
