you compared G.I. Joe to a girls toy, I don't know how that could not be an jab at the greatest action figure of all time.
everything that makes G.I. Joe great today was established with that doll: highly articulated action figures with removable gear and weapons. |

so what if he bashed a toy. Your the one trying to bash him. I think you need to take a chill and quit trying to defend a 12" plastic toy. Most everyone in here has bad mouthed some g.i. Joe product before have you rushed to that toys defense also. People knock duke all the time, well i like duke, but i don't try to start an argument over it on the tank i just respect the fact that not everyone likes him and i move on to the next post.
This can apply to the rest of the holier than tho people in this thread also you know who you are |

Wasn't bashing him at all, just made comment to the fact that he SEEMED in his posts to be bashing the product (getting upset that this was out when there was no new 3-3/4" product) and bashing someone that was excited about it ("for real" is not an insult, but the way it was used was mocking the person that was excited to be buying this product).
The boxes do make a great display backdrop. Look pretty cool behind the Joes.

Beware men getting defensive about their "dolls."
Disclaimer: 1. I know the history of GI Joe. 2. I own a ton of 12" Military "dolls" (BBI, 21st Century, Dragon and yes, a couple GI Joe - before the 25th existed), not to mention a bunch of 1:6 (monstrous) vehicles. And I still think it's cute to call them "dolls." Now everyone please just breathe... |
