No.
With the cost and limitation of scope which would accompany a conceivably smaller customer base I cannot see the line succeeding in that format. I want a lot of variety. I want buy multiples and get fodder for customs. Could I count on those things in the hypothetical Revoltech line - mostly no. Hell, I would buy a Captain Minh, Cobra Mechanic or even Space Shot for $6-7 - but I would certainly not buy any for $20. I would, however, love if Hasbro made a running change to the construction of their current line to make arms and chests "pop off" so they could be interchangeable. And also if there were more and better accessories and less frequent but better waves of figures with each having 90% new construction guaranteed.... BUT, all those things are possible in the current format for the current price. The only thing I want is for the price to go down by about .99 or for the quality to go up by about 20% - but either way I'm very happy with what we're already getting... I'd say about 78% satisfied. I don't need or want uber articulation & I don't think I would like the foreseeable changes to style. I love some anime but I dislike the anime style. Even if they didn't make the line animeesque the previous arguments apply.

Tough call. An interesting format, for sure, but I don't know if I'd really be into it with G.I. Joe. The scale would be a bit off, and they'd be out of a lot of folks' price range, so ultimately I probably wouldn't jump through hoops for 'em.
They've got the potential for coolness, but I know we'd just get our "core characters" and while the Street Fighter 2 figures look pretty cool with their animated styling, I'm not sure the Joe characters would fit that same mold. Justin |

i've had several revoltech figures: robots and humans, male and female, because they always look sooooo cool! then i get them and hate their joints and resell them. i doubt joes would be any different...

Revoltech hasn't made a Batman figure. There are Microman Batman figures that have been out for a while. The Revoltech figures I have are in the 5 to 7 inch range depending on the character.

imagine the possibilities of interchangeble parts... they usually come with multiple heads,hands,etc... they could drop a cobra commander and have both heads in the pack. revoltech figs are very sick! |

Nah. I'd rather see Marvel Legends / DC Universe style and scale Joes. I'd pay $15 each for those easy.
I'd like to see the same for Star Wars too. . .surprised they haven't gone there yet. |
