I'm compiling a list of Joes with a federal law enforcement background. Am I missing anybody?
Also, are there any further explanations of what the Quantico reference in Bullhorn's original filecard allude to? A reference to USMC Base Quantico or to the FBI Academy (also located in Quantico)? I always assumed that it was a hint that he's a former FBI agent (sort of makes sense given the context of his specialty being negotiation/intervention). We tend to go with Marine since the Joes are lackign Marines, but the FBI at Quantico makes more sense considering the negotiation/intervention aspects.

Ah, okay. I thought there might have been something in the comics or elsewhere that cleared that ambiguity up. Thanks.

These may be two of my favorite figures yet. I'm so stoked to finally have these guys. Hey Zulu, didn't Scarlett Declassified say she ended up at the FBI academy after Marine Sniper School and time with the British SAS? I thought it said thats where she learned to use her crossbow. I read that in the synopsis on yojoe.com so I don't know if that meant she just learned to use the crossbow there or if she had some extensive training. Earlier it mentioned that she had an Ivy League law degree and wasn't she portrayed in Resolute as seeming to have a background in CSI? I haven't read the full book, but it almost seems like Scarlett could be FBI. Can anyone with the full book confirm or deny this? I've got to get home, so I'll catch up to you guys tonight. |

One of the Steel Brigade guys was ex FBI. He was dismissed for being too rough on suspects. Was it Rook? I don't have access to Yojoe at work :(

Anyway, the reason I'm curious about all the federal law enforcement types in the Joe team is I'm thinking of attaching a Homeland Security/Department of Justice task force to my force structure to give the Joes above-the-board and legal domestic anti-terrorism capability. Right now, I'm thinking of structuring it like a small FBI HRT team: a five-man CQB team (Sure-Fire, Bulletproof, Rumbler, Shockwave, and Mace), a two-man sniper team (Bullhorn and GI Joe Extreme's Ballistic/Eagle-Eye), a tactical coxswain (Cutter), and a helicopter pilot (Red Zone). Looking at it more closely now, the different training she had prior to GI Joes would not have allowed her time to pick up something like CSI with the FBI. That's years worth of schooling and training, so obviously she's out as being FBI. Have we confirmed Stalker as a Green Beret yet? He's got the skills, but I can't find anything that might suggest he's a Green Beret other then the qualifications like medic and language skills mentioned on his file card. I think that a Ranger on LRRP in Vietnam would have just as much use for those skills as a Green Beret. What did you guys decide to do with Stalker? |

This is way off topic guys, but I wanted to sneak this in. I work a few nights a week at Walmart as a part time job and last night we finally got in the Walmart 2 packs. I've been trying to find these for weeks and I couldn't even get them on the Walmart website. I picked up some and thought I'd let you guys know too. We are always the last to get stuff way up here in South Dakota, so I'm usually not much help to other tankers. Finally I might be able to be useful and it feels great. If any of you guys need any of the Walmart 2 packs, pm me. Not looking to sell for profit, just my cost (13.96-10% employee discount) and shipping. If any of you guys are low on funds, I can still grab one for you and hold it until you are ready or if you prefer to trade that's fine too. I've taken so much away from this thread, I'd love to finally be able to help one of you guys out for a change.

Thanks for the opportunity on those 2-packs. As for Scarlett, the DDP Declassified issue was pretty crazy. I can't recall where she picked up the Cross bow, but yeah, she did all kinds of stuff with the FBI, Marine Sniper School, and the SAS. I don't know, it was a little too far fetched for me. If she went through all that, she should have been an officer.
