Yeah, you're right about Speed Metal. I haven't opened mine yet.
Did y'all see the custom Dick Marcinco that somebody posted on here the other day? Pretty cool.

I've decided to use the Steel Brigade as a National Guard force augmenter for the joe team. They're almost like the opposite of the Crimson Guard. The individual members are doctors, lawyers, historians, law enforcement and engineers.Experts in their own fields. Most are members of the US Army and Air Force National Guard and Reserve components.
They primarily perform Civil Affairs, Psy Ops and Security / Law Enforcement duties. The way I see them operating is that they are scattered across the US and the rest of the world. Say, there's a situation in downtown Cleaveland. It'll take the Joes 2 hrs to get there. The Pitt activates the agents in the area and they secure the site, conduct surveillance and can either provide on site support when the joes get there or they can take control of the situation themselves. Also, if Joe ops finds an unknown viral agent that was stolen from a top secret facility, The ops officer can get on the satlink and get expert advice from a professor in Addis Addiba, He's a member of the Steel Brigade. Some SB members cross over to the Joe team (like Rook, Red Zone and Checkpoint) as part of their active duty service component of the service. Some do not and some Joes join the Steel Brigade when they leave active Joe service (like Grunt when he was at Virginia Tech). Operationally, there is still the issue of National Guardsmen cannot be activated individually per soldier but Reserves can. I'm thinking of a simple Presidential decree that allows Guardsmen to operate as Steel Brigade members (the same way the Joes get around the Posse Comitatus Act). What do you guys (and girls) think? OMG that's so frikkin' genius Tyroc it's brilliant. Yeah Presidential Decree sounds great. Why should they have to follow the rules to the letter anyway? But the Joes counter to the CGs and the fact they may as well be Lawyers or other critical roles as a Pys Ops, Civil Affairs group is Awesome. I think I might have to Join Psyche -Out to the SB team. Who are you using as the overall Steel Brigade Commander? I've just got a Custom of Sci-Fi by Hatchet that is amazing. So she's going to do another one for Dodger. (Don't know why but I love the Guy) It's a Combo of ROC Flash and the Delta 6 suits. Well I decided I'll rename Duke and Ripcord in the Suits to Blocker and Dee-Jay from BF2000. And this will be my Heavy Weapons Steel Brigade team. I'm using Reactive armor HD as Hardball as another member. Why not? (BTW Grunt went to Georgia Tech |

Just to echo Loose Cannon, it's an excellent way to organize and use Steel Brigade. Really, really well thought out. I like it a lot. Bullet Proof might be a good Joe for you to think about using with Steel Brigade. He's a U.S. Marshal, so working within U.S. Boarders and with local law enforcement would be a natural fit for him.

I am more of a kit-basher but I will give it a try. I already have a rocky and when the Training Duke comes out I am stealing all his gear...... or more than likely buy a few of him......

That Training Duke looks kind of cool. I think he comes with a removable reactive armor vest? I'm interested to see that. It might be really cool for customs.

No I haven't seen this yet. I'll have to check it out. Always wanted to read his book about red cell. Have you read it? I'm currently reading SOG--pretty interesting stuff and a lot of info. If you thought LRRPs and regular Green Berets were badass, you have no idea.

I haven't read Red Cell, but I've been thinking about ordering it. I wonder if it's factual or just really fiction.
