Those guys are awesome. I just need one. I decided to only have one squad of those guys. I did pick up a Black V1 style Eel today that I got at Target. I now have my sea commander, for all my eels and divers. I was amazed to find one on a sunday afternoon.

Guys, I got 4 brand new ROC Para-Vipers today from HTS! They are really great. They are going to be my squad leaders for my Para-Vipers. I've got one of those off brand/true heroes Blackhawk helicopters for each squad. Yeah, Cobra's all about the Amphibious Air Assault over here... watch out, DC!
I'm using 'em as my squad leaders as well.

Yeah but they continued to use both in the comics didn't they? I mean until like 91 when the Vipers got the purple and Orange suits.
I consider them two different units, (easier for army building) but I think the intention was to replace the blue-shirts. but When they mixed the two you figure some units just never got new uniforms so maybe the Viper is just the Blue shirt with armor on.

The Para-Vipers have taken a very prominent role in my Cobra Army. They're a major component of their Blitzkreig/Special Ops Units. Shock Troops Basically. I consider them one of the toughest types of Cobra Troops. Right up there with Alley Vipers and Range Vipers... I figure they're tougher than Snow Serpents. I mean seriously, if you wash out of Para-Viper selection, you probably try out for the Snow Serpents... who would want to work in the cold as their first choice?

I use the blue shirts as support troops - non combat personnel. Vipers are my basic Cobra Infantry.

Is this seriously your first time on this thread? You're an old school Tanker... and this is one of the pillars of the forum. Welcome, man. We're glad you're here. And thanks for at least making an attempt to catch up. It's a lot - we've become a forum within the forum - but there's legitimately a lot of good stuff here.

Is anyone else irked by the minor errors on the ROC filecards? Helix for example is described as "a covert operations officer" but she's an E-4 Corporal. It doesn't require years of military experience or research to understand that an E-4 is not an officer. So why the discrepancies? Perhaps they meant NCO and omitted the NC part but I may be giving the writer too much credit. With a little research, he could have written operator or specialist and there would be no such discrepancy. Just seems like lazy writing and poor to no editing.
