I'm waiting for 'em to show up in the stores.
I'm not sure if any of the current Joes would make believable "snakes in the grass". Grunt when he came back maybe, Cobra is holding his family over him?

Is anyone else irked by the minor errors on the ROC filecards? Helix for example is described as "a covert operations officer" but she's an E-4 Corporal. It doesn't require years of military experience or research to understand that an E-4 is not an officer. So why the discrepancies? Perhaps they meant NCO and omitted the NC part but I may be giving the writer too much credit. With a little research, he could have written operator or specialist and there would be no such discrepancy. Just seems like lazy writing and poor to no editing.

I finally got a Helix--great figure. My walmart just got a buttload of ROC. Pegs are stuffed. It's like an oasis of Joes but no 2-packs yet. Prior to now, walmart was a virtual wasteland.

RoC cards suck hardcore. Helix is a great figure.
I'm at the point now where there isn't any single carded figures I really need. Would like 2 more Crimson Neo-Vipers (for a total of 4) and another Elite-Viper (for a total of 3 to go with the E-V officer from the SRO pack). Various others ones will get "extras" of for customs. So now just waiting for the next wave of figures. Still haven't seen the new Alpha vehicles: Snarler, etc..

Yeah, she's non-military. I think they're just slapping the cards together and hoping it sounds right. Kind of like how they did the last batches of the original stuff.

Anyone notice in the "card art" (the rear of the box) of the Assault on Cobra Island 7-pack, Zap is holding his recoilless rifle backwards (by which I mean he's actually got the muzzle pointed behind him and he's actually "aiming" the venturi nozzle end of the weapon)? I think it's hilarious and I'm surprised no one else has brought it up.

That is pretty damn funny though.

I'm a bit meh on the GI Joe 7-pack. Most of them are going to be taken apart and turned into custom fodder, and the only ones I'm keeping whole are Recondo (nice sculpt based on the classic figure, but the Duke arms are an almost-deal-breaker), Zap (ridiculous card art aside, it's an awesome figure), and Hit & Run (he's got next to useless elbow articulation -- he's got the dreaded 25th Anniversary Hawk arthritic elbows -- but everything else is a fairly solid and spot on update of the original, although I wish he came with a duffel bag instead of a standard backpack).
