... and so should the ignore feature. Problem solved. As my wise friend, Fogger1138, often reminds me: it saves me more headaches than I will ever know.

So anyone see Cobra Shadow Tracker? It looks like a shout out to DDP Skullbuster, the only Cobra with Dreadloks. I'm liking his look with Zartan we may get a witch Doctor Team, if they come up with more.
That infiltrator Duke sort of reminds me of Eagle from the Action Force days. So many good new figures it's ridiculous. |

When everybody went to High School, did your school have a Foreign Student Exchange Program? Would G.I.Joe have something along the lines of a Foreign Military Exchange Program?
Big Ben,who is from Burford,England,is on an extended tour with the G.I.Joe Team from the SAS. Big Bear, who is from Archangel. Russia and part of the Oktober Guard, got transferred to the G.I.Joe Team from the elite 103rd Guards Air Assault Division. Dragonsky, who is from Moscow,Russia and part of the Oktober Guard, transferred over to the G.I.Joe Team to get help in the capture of the Iron Grenadier General Mayhem. Red Star is from the Ukraine and part of the Oktober Guard, may or may not be a willing member of the G.I.Joe Team. Snow Storm, who is from Havana Cuba, got recruited to join the G.I.Joe Team after defeating an entire band of hostile revolutionaries. It would be interesting to see how that request got through the chain of command. Snow Storm hates being in the cold and would rather have a job south of the equator,if he wasn`t so good at his job defeating cobra troopers. Backstop is from Montreal,Quebec,Canada before his family had to move to Detroit. He had injured too many players playing in the Junior League Hockey. He then did some boxing in the Golden Gloves before getting banned. He then was undefeating in wrestling because nobody wanted to get on the mat with him. |

Skymate was a transfer from the Australian SASR.
As far as I know Special Forces in the US train and exchange operators with other Countries all the time. For example, Crankcase on an SAS exchange mentioned on his filecard. I expect the Joes would be no different. In fact Delta was modeled after the SAS and have similar tactics and structures |

Texasdoom, sorry but your post didn't seem like you were joking so I can kinda understand where Oliver is coming from. I don't mean this as criticism or anything.
It's just notoriously difficult to gauge 'tone' in a written form. Most of our base communication stems from our perception of body language and facial recognition (unless one happens to be blind). Sometimes, it's hard to decipher the intent behind our words. What may seem harmless to one person may seem incendiary to another. I guess I'm just saying I hope we can all get along and I'd be interested in some of your views as much as I enjoy Oliver's contributions. As Fogger said, hope we can all relax and enjoy BTW, I've been thinking of joining your game. I got an invite the other day and it seems very very cool. Could I ask how long did it take to come up with it? what inspired you? I ask, cos just trying to organize my joes is killing me |

Damn I can't believe they made a Big Lob! That's funny. I hated that guy in the movie but I now I want one. His figure looks pretty good.

I've read about 4 books on Delta Force, and in Col Beckwith's book "Delta Force" he talks about an exchange program that Army Special Forces had with the British SAS. That was in the 1960's. It was evidently open to Officer and NCO's. I imagine that if we still use a program like that, and I think we probably do, we also would have a good exchange relationship with Australia. So the exchange program G.I. Joe uses isn't so far from reality... at least from my own reading. Hope that helps.
