1.Blackblast is a Anti-Aircraft Soldier. While growing up,his house was next to a busy airport. At night the plane`s landing lights and vibrations kept him up at night. When he enlisted, the job he wanted was to shoot planes out of the sky.
2.Charbroil is a Flame Weapons Specialist. When he was growing up,his job was to use a blowtorch to heat the water pipes in the basement,so they wouldn`t freeze during the winter. Later he had jobs at various Great Lake mills feeding coal into the blast furnances. When he enlisted,he wanted a job with open flames. 3.Iceberg is one of the G.I.Joe Arctic Specialists. He grew up in Texas and did not like the hot weather. In order to stay cool,he saved his money for an air conditioner. When he enlisted,he asked for a job in Alaska. Here are a couple of interesting mottos, that he has:1.Just give me a M-16 and a sharp icicle and I`ll fight `till I freeze! and 2.I like my food like my enemies-Frozen! |

The later ones, like Depthcharge (with his hating water but joining the navy and being a UDE), were just completely odd.

I love the way Charbroil likes open flames. Kinda why he's one of the Catering specialists in my Joeverse when he's not on active duty he's their best grill and bbq chef (never understood why Ice Cream Soldier got that duty instead)..

GI Joe Convention 2009 Crimson International Team 3 PK - eBay (item 290339834797 end time Aug-16-09 22:36:54 PDT)
Tons of The international packs showing up on ebay now. I bought one from this guy so I hope it works out. I figure $125 to $150 is pretty standard for these. These never make it to the club store so Ebay is the only way to pick them up. Plus after the covention the price goes up. |

Loose, congratulations. I know you wanted those figures, so I'm glad you got them. It's always nice when you can find the figures you're interested in.
These figures just aren't grabbing me. I certainly never knew of these guys when I was a kid. What's y'alls attraction to them?

I guess I had seen some as a kid as some of my foreign friends had a few, so they held a sort of mystique for me. Particularly Cobra De Aco, and Satan, but later I found there were more so I thought they were cool.
I guess I just like anything new. I love new additions to the Joes. There are really only about 20 unique figures from the Brazil Argentina figures. |

Yeah, International figures are really cool. I wouldn't mind having Blades. I have some Brazil Joes (Air Puro and Shipwreck - Tiger Force) and I have all the European Tiger Force Joes. I also have the Brazil Recoil, who I use with Tiger Force.
I just don't know these guys. And as much as I love new characters, I'll stick with my much cheaper Sgt. Stone, Major Striker (ROC Duke), and ROC Rip Cord - who I will use as another new character, probably a Marine Recon Operator.
