That's a good code name that has a cool sound to it and to add to that I would submit howitzer which can dish out lots of thump to a battle field! I always liked the way that sounded as well. Just a thought ;)

Howitzer is a great name. Maybe for an Artillery Soldier/officer?

I always liked the names "Arrowhead" and "Dagger" because of their SF iconography connotations. |

British Special Forces have a LONG history with the Dagger as their symbol. I like that name quite a lot... may be for Capt. De Niro because of his SAS background.
Just asking again: Does anyone know anything about "Speed Metal"? What do you guys think of the accelerator suit in Gold as an updated Super Trooper Armor?

Only thing I know about Speed Metal is the name and he's wearing Accelerator Suit armor. He's not in the movie or comics. No clue who/what he is.
Loving Vulcan (machine gunner), Dagger (SAS), Arrowhead (pointman/recon), Howitzer (artillery) and Bolt Action (rifleman) I'm stealing and using all those tonight. ;)

If I had a few of those Speed Metals, I could see that as an updated Super Trooper armor. What do y'all think?

It could work. Would make sense for a Super Trooper, especially if go with the "solo" soldier concept, to have a hi-tech suit of armor like the A-Suit.
There's 3 A-Suit figures, Speed Metal, Duke and Ripcord. 3 Super Troopers? Yeah, that Grunt is a great generic figure like the Zartans. There's a brown camoed one that comes out in the Target "Attack on the PIT" 5-pack (w/ Mole Pod).

As far as the Accelerator Suit figures... it won't hurt me one bit to do some head swaps with some PIT Commandos. I little paint on the hair, and they'll start looking like Super Trooper and Rapid Fire.

I don't know that the Accelerator Suit armor will necessarily make him a one man army - I mean, nothing would inhibit him from leading a unit of PIT Commandos or something.
