I only have a Urzor, Escorpioa Voador, Abutre Negro Custom, Manleh Custom, Sky Diver(India), Topson Custom, Shimik Custom, Glenda (Volga). I pretty much use them with there respective affiliations.
So their filecards are truly a mystery. Sometimes they don't have one, or it's not translated well, or it's silly. I use Urzor as Cobra Jungle Commander, along with Croc Master, Coil Crusher, and Copperhead. But the Argentinian guys are great they have ranks like G-08. Shimik I think was meant to be the commander but would he be a Maj. General or a First Sgt.? I use him as a Master Sgt. I just use one of the Tiger Force one as Shimik since my custom is non swivel hand grip. |

Oh Yeah!
Tons of Crimson Guards and Crimson tanks. Lots of BATs Python Patrol is my Cobra Special Operations Lots of plain Vipers My brother has gotten a number of Alley Vipers My brother has also done a great Job with Cobra's Tanks, Navy and Air Force... and I've certainly contributed too. We don't do a lot of the lesser known vipers. Though, we do like Night vipers. Our Cobra HQ is something pretty special. It's almost as big as our G.I. Joe HQ, and that's saying something. G.I. Joe HQ is 4-sided: One of each of the Joe HQ ever produced (including the rare BTR HQ - it's on the back side). There's an open courtyard/formation area in the middle. Cobra HQ: Terror Drome in the rear, two Cobra Mountain play sets (one on each side), and the front is a repaint of the 1995 Joe HQ that was released for the villains of the Street Fighter movie. It's purple and silver - we put some Cobra stickers on it. There's an open courtyard in this set up that we use for an "Arena of Sport" and throne room for Cobra Commander. - The new MASS device is integral to our Cobra force. It solves their logistical problems and they can move their troops easily and rapidly. Cobra isn't quite as big as our Joe stuff, but with their logistical capability, they are more than capable of fending off Joe.

I like the idea of making a set of Joes that can perform the pararescue mission well not necessarily being pararescuemen. This would be a special mission team sent into enemy territory. They go in, find their men, and get out.
I'd include Crankcase in my group, in case they need to make a land based escape.

I used Outback on solo missions damn near constantly. He was one of my favorite figures growing up (and I'm stoked that he's coming out in the 25th line). Falcon and Hit & Run also saw heavy usage from me. Tunnel Rat and Airborne slightly less.

Flint was always my goto guy.
I liked others. Falcon was cool. Repeater and Shockwave. Outback was one of my favorites. Hit & Run was awesome. My brother always used Duke, Stalker, Beach-Head, and Tunnel Rat. When we played together, I always used Hawk so I got to be in charge. He's never let me live that down.

Does anyone remember anything about a unit in Vietnam and It may just be Special Forces, that when you were in a pickle you would give them a call and they would come bail you out. Sort of like rescue, but with guns blazing. I seem to remember something like that. While looking it up I found this though:
Tiger Force - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Kind of messed up! |

Tiger Force - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Kind of messed up! I certainly understand why people were angered/upset by the article, I also just think it's hard to judge the actions of an entire unit in combat, especially in those conditions. Presumably, these were patriotic, professional soldiers. I wasn't there to evaluate those choices. I know they were a very successful combat unit. I'm not trying to excuse what some would consider to be alleged war crimes. I just think that I can't really judge what all went on over there and back then. 40 years is a long time. The other unit you're talking about... I don't know. But I remember in "The Green Berets" when they were about to get overrun and they called "Puff the Magic Dragon" and he flew in to provide air support.

There's a thread floating around out there somewhere about Tiger Force. That article on Wikipedia about the original Tiger Force was brought into the discussion. I think they were part of the 101st Airborne. The article became very controversial on the thread.

The other unit you're talking about... I don't know. But I remember in "The Green Berets" when they were about to get overrun and they called "Puff the Magic Dragon" and he flew in to provide air support. I think what I saw was called Mike Force. It was a documentary narrated by Tom Selleck. The best description I've seen: Commanded and trained by Green Berets, the Mobile Strike Force, also known as "Mike Force," was a roving SWAT team on call to rescue platoons and camps under attack during the Vietnam War. The Mike Force was assigned the perilous mission of rushing into situations in which the North Vietnamese Army and the Viet Cong had already established substantial battle advantages. Made up primarily of indigenous forces, the Mike Force was often the difference between life and death for soldiers, civilians and cities that would have otherwise been lost as casualties of war. This one obscure documentary I saw probably 10 years ago is the basis of my Sky Patrol. The Tiger Force reference is just messed up because the name and the sorted history. I doubt they were the only unit that had members who made ear necklaces. What happened 40 years ago isn't something I want to try and solve. But what is cool about it is its small size. Like a platoon size Joe unit of raiders. Its much how I envision my various Infantry forces. Last edited by Loose Cannon; 11-22-2008 at 01:41 AM.. |

proper way to pronounce is wont like wonton soup. It's a very properenglish word that is rarely used except in written form. So one will probably hear it often. Most people especially high school students these days wouldn't know how to use it properly. I even have a hard time know when it is proper at times and tend to use it in writing.
