I dunno. Maybe. I actually never liked him (the early Kwinn-centric stories bored me to tears), but he's such an integral part of the early GI Joe mythos that dismissing him outright from the project seems like a huge omission.

Been working on my revised organizational chart. Trimmed a bit out of it. We'll see when I go thru it again what else I can trim out.
Loving the RoC figures, they'll allowing me to fill quite alot of holes.

I've always thought Kwinn was a great character. He's nearly a match for Snake-Eyes and that says a lot. He's a freelance intel operative with crazy mad skills. You might think about finding a way to adapt him.

The new Snow Serpent and Bench-Press figures look great. I'm excited.

Here's a filecard secret that I don't think has been posted yet: Freefall was named after one of the artists at Hasbro (Phil Arndt).
Okay, saw the "Sgt. Savage & His Screaming Eagles" pilot on Youtube recently. I'm trying to differentiate all the different members of the Screaming Eagles as listed on the Essential Guide and on YoJoe.com. I know who Dynamite, Mouse & Tank are (long-haired Latino guy, ironically intelligent grotesquely muscular bald guy & slightly smaller grotesquely muscular bald guy, respectively), and I know what D-Day looks like based on the Joe Kubert-illustrated trading card (he looks nothing like the steroid abusing monsters in the pilot episode). Am I right in assuming that Grill is the black dude and Headbanger is the nondescript generic soldier? Quote:

I have no clue about Sgt. Savage so can't help you there.
I always liked Kwinn, always saying those weird eskimo type sayings about the spirits and all that.

Never saw the toys, but the un-aired pilot episode (I think it was packaged with one of the playsets) is in "it's so bad it's good" territory. Awfully cheesy dialogue + grotesquely muscled animation models = much hilarity.
It's like a cocaine-fueled producer's fever dream starring Sgt. Rock, Captain America & GI Joe. |

I have a few of the Sgt. Savage figures and vehicles. They're not bad, just a bit bigger than the regular (or 25th/ME) Joes. The detailing is good, nice WWII style weapons. In fact, I just found a Luger that belonged to the lead bad guy and gave it to my ROC Destro. Unfortunately, there were no characters to connect it to the previous run, and the size difference didn't help, either.
