Loose Cannon,
What time do you want to meet? Wanna grab lunch? Bailey's Crossroads is fine if that works for you.

It is. Does it have anything ROC yet? I haven't been. Is that close to you. I just live 6 stoplights from Bailey's and that Target. Kingstowne has the Walmart which sucks and doesn't seem to have any Joes yet.

I think one of the 'tankers who works at Wal-Mart mentioned that some of the RoC pallets are marked with an August date, so some Wal-Marts won't be putting them up until the movie hits.
Anyway, I've finished reading Pablo Hidalgo's GI Joe vs Cobra: The Essential Guide. I think I want to follow the way the book was formatted with the reference bible I'm working on, in that I'll combine the GI Joe and Cobra reference bibles into one long-ass document instead of releasing them separately. What do you guys think? The Cobras aren't that many, and at the previous rate I was working, it probably won't take me more than a couple of months to finalize the Cobra filecards and composite images. I've already taken just a little under two years putting the images, writing the filecards and text pieces, and doing the research on-and-off, I figure what's a couple more months. So, good idea or not? |

So, good idea or not? Gotta do it Zulu! Where would you make the cut off? I saw your previous post with it set up like a Company. Would you be only using those characters? I mean since some guys who wear masks don't fit the corporate mold, how does a Wild Weasel fit in? Or Like Interrogator if you go that far. |

I think I've got a problem. I can't stop:
Stone, Firewall & Ice Cream Soldier Design notes: - "Stone" is based on a hybrid of Lt. Stone from the Sigma 6 line and Sgt. Stone from the upcoming movie. The maroon beret, eyepatch, and rank were from the former (although in this case, the maroon beret is meant to signify his Army Airborne lineage, and not the British Army Parachute Regiment), while the camo uniform and his role as a trainer/mission support guy was inspired by the latter. - Firewall and Ice Cream Soldier were done just for kicks. The "fetish pigtails" on Firewall were inspired by her appearance in the GI Joe/Transformers crossover comic from a few years back. Ice Cream Soldier is pretty much just me riffing on an Army chef. He looks ridiculous, I know, but it's intentional. To read their filecards, click on the Filecard Project link in my signature. |
