When Battleforce 2000 was created, one of the vehicles was named the Dominator. A few years later it was used again as Destro`s Dominator.
When the new Pit was rebuilt in Utah,it was stationed in the Escalante Desert or Valley in Southwest Utah. It would be Northwest of Cedar City,Utah. |

Cool Breeze was shot and killed by Faoud,a rebel leader of the Benzheeni Resistance, who wanted to be President of Benzheeni,by any means necessary. Cool Breeze died saving Stalker after Faoud stole Stalker`s gun. Faoud had had Flint and Lady Jaye as prisoners afterr he captured the G.I.Joe Armored Team. In this issue Snake Eyes,Storm Shadow,Jinx and Scarlett got some pay back on the SAW Viper.

No, it wasn't completely gratuitous, but it was kinda like Star Trek: Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Ensign Jones in a red shirt beam down to planet X and guess who gets killed. It wasn't exactly a total shock, given that the whole premise of the storyline was to kill off some characters.

Busy with family this weekend, so I didn't get to do as much in the way of compositing and writing filecards. But here's a favourite:
Snake-Eyes Design notes: - The main basis for the re-design was Snake-Eyes v1. It's still my favourite costume design for the character, very understated but very memorable nonetheless. I added the pinuti short sword from the 1985 v2 Snake-Eyes though, since it's become a hallmark of the character (click here to view a traditional pinuti sword, it's the third one from the bottom). - The visor/balaclava combo was a little less straightforward in terms of redesigning. I wanted something that would be a combination of the goggled faceplate that the original wore and the visor worn by the 1985 version, but most contemporary tactical faceplates look like the ones used for paintball, and I wanted something that looked less like something a weekend warrior would wear, and more like real military gear. In the end, I went with a scaled-down version of one of the prototype helmets created by the Army's Natick Soldier Center for the Future Force Warrior program (click here to view the actual helmet). Glad you like it TS. One of the reasons I took so long to get around to making Snake-Eyes is that I know he has his fans out there, and I was putting this pressure on myself to make a version that everybody would be happy with. But it occurred to me that there was no way I was going to be able to make a version that could do that, the character's multiple incarnations and depictions over the years are just so varied, with each one having its fair share of supporters and detractors. So I just settled for making a real-world version that I'm happy with, and just hope that it registers as appealing (or at least half-decent) to a majority of GI Joe fans.

Being without home internet sucks. Thank god getting it back tomorrow afternoon.
Loving all the updates. I even like Tracker. I think a Situation/Mission Room would have 4 parts: Mission Control Officer (this would be the highest ranking guy, high enough and in charge enough that if a mission team calls in with a question/problem this guy has the authority to answer the question or adjust the mission) Communications Intelligence Data Communications obviously maintains communications (satellite, etc..) with the various mission teams in the field. Intelligence gathers and analyzes the various intelligence and date vital to the mission and being received by the mission teams. Data would be the guys running the computers. They'd be the ones providing the realtime mapping, running the scenarios, etc.. There would have to be people in the center 24/7, especially during missions (which would be 90% of the time). So each section would have a head, and have a team under them (2 to 5 people depending on need and section). Hawk, Mainframe, Breaker and whoever can't be there 24/7 so there has to be other people that take over each shift and have the same authority. As I've been developing my base (which admittedly I haven't worked on in awhile), I went with the 3 shift idea, so that different parts of the base are manned/active 24/7. That creates ALOT of support personal. The Joe team would have more support personal then mission personal.

Well, it's been a while on my end too. I started back in school, so I've had to ban myself from this site for the past week. I've got a nasty habit of F5ing this topic when I should be working, lol. Anyways, seems like the Joe side of the project is winding down, z. Some thoughts:
Updated Images Sparks: I liked the old one, but this one has a more unique look about him. Nice. Shockwave: I'm glad you hooked him up with more appropriate headgear. It's not like we can't still tell who he is without the hat and mask combo. Claymore: Solid improvement that keeps him looking like a seasoned vet, but knocks some years off of him. New Images Drop Zone, Skydive and Cloudburst: I love the seeing crappy figures get cool, recognizable updates. I *really* like the simple conversion of Cloudburst into an Indian American. The usage of Cloudburst on this team gives me some ideas for one of his fellow glider-riders (Spirit). Tracker, Crazylegs and Switch Gears: These were pretty straight ahead redesigns (continuing your trend to mute down outlandish colors). Cool choice on Tracker's strange headgear. Although have to wonder why every jersey ever worn by a Joe member (not counting repaints) was red. Bazooka, Red Dog, Big Lob and Tracker. Wassupwidat? Mirage: Love, love, LOVE this redesign. I continually find myself looking more forward to seeing how you'll handle some of those later far-out concepts that the designers introduced later on in the line. The shades look too boss. Snake-Eyes: I'm a bit disappointed in this one, but I guess the fault really lies with me and not your image as I let my own anticipation of your version lead me to expect the world. Although because he has so many fans, you're really restricted in terms of what you can do. I definitely approve of the Filipino sword (kali/escrima is home to the world's deadliest knife fighting techniques, so it makes perfect sense). And I can say you've pointed me into a new direction (use of a scaled down Future Warrior concept) that I'm going to absolutely expand on personally (kind of a real world Resolute design - similar to your Duke). Still a really cool image, and there's no way you can please everyone with a character so many people have their own image of like Snake Eyes. Last edited by Master Thespian; 07-20-2009 at 12:06 PM.. I like SE better as a bad-ass commando then a ninja. Having the kai/eskrima would have been so much better because it cuts out the ninja and makes him more real world, as that's something most people can study. So it still makes him deadly as all hell, but grounds him in reality.
Hey Zulu, saw come Canadian army guys today. Concord, NH has a good sized National Guard base and see alot of the Guardsmen in their BDUs at the local Subway. Walked in today and saw a green/brown/light green digital camo pattern I had never see before. Got a look at their shoulder patch and they were sporting the Canadian flag. It's a pretty busy pattern. Wasn't a big fan, it was kind of hard on the eyes. I'm not a fan of the digital pattern anyways, but this one was hard to look at it.
