Mostly because they were complaining that another thread that also rambled around a bit had been relegated to the spam section and this one hadn't.

This isn't spam though. It is still on-topic in that it's about Joe (nothing else) and how Joe influences and relates to real life military.

So less political, but who would be the Joe to go "rogue"? That gets tired of playing by the rules when the enemy doesn't and decides to go off the reservation.
Now, look at it two ways... 1 - Goes completely off the reservation and ends up working for Cobra 2 - Still a "good" guy, just uses extreme methods And this is back "on topic" (lol) since uses the filecard to determine personality, lol. S P O I L E R s p a c e Highlight the following text to read: Chuckles made the decision to "go rogue" at the end of issue #4 of GI Joe: Cobra. Chuckles and G.I. Joe: Cobra is the perfect example of "doing what needs to be done". Look at what he did to maintain his cover.
So there's an example of a guy crossing the line but still "fighting the good fight". I think motivation has alot to do with who is a "good" and "bad" guy. I don't think that "my religion or my nationality says these people are wrong and it's my duty to eliminate them" is a good motivation. I think "these guys are undenialibly evil and the world would be better without them" is a good motivation.

Last week I stopped at Barnes and Noble and saw the G.I.Joe vs Cobra The Essential Guide. I also saw the large addition of G.I.Joe Rise of Cobra as well as the other book that has the female Dial-Tone.
This week I happened to see the new Scarlett and it doesn`t look like any of the other Scarletts. Some pages ago,it was discussed that Armadillo and Skystriker were names for a figure and a vehicle. There is a third name to be added to that list and it is Avalanche. The figure was part of the Battleforce 2000 and the vehicle was driven by Cold Front. Marissa Fairborn may be the daughter of Flint and Lady Jaye. She was in one of the Transformers series. |

I know I was going off on a tangent earlier, but the whole war on terror may be too deep a discussion for the forum. Although it relates to GIJoe which is an anti-Terrorism team. As much as I'd love to hear everyones views, since we tend to discuss thing fairly open-mindedly and with almost no malice, we may need to leave that one alone.
Zulu you're right Chuckles is that perfect example of a rouge agent. I can't wait to see how he plays out. I can't imagine it ends well though. I wonder if Hawk should get some of that blame. |

I have been doing a liitle browsing and found a few things.
The second specialty of Ice Cream Soldier is a Barbeque Chef. In 2002 there were five different Dustys made. The first one,who drives the Night Rhino is from North Kingstown,Rhode Island. All the rest are from Las Vegas,Nevada. There are two Windchills, one is from Iowa and the other from Scotland. I knew Hawk was from Denver, but had forgotten about Mace. |

Didn't realize that about Dusty and Windchill. Same names too?
