Yeah I didn't want to say anything about Hollow-Point. But man you just turned that thing around in a flash Zulu. With updated training and everything. Pretty amazing.
How do we get your work in front of Hasbro? Anyone going to the convention this year? I mean really. You already did all the research, way more than Larry ever did. They couldn't come up with a more realistic filecard themselves. The shoddy crap they're feeding us now is highly disappointing. I mean they don't even have birthplaces. That may seem like a little thing. But I like every character from Virginia and Michigan because I grew up there \live there. I know some of you guys feel the same way. Now we get the stripped down version. I feel like I just bought a Ford Aspire. Yeah it'll get you to work, but I feel like a douche bag. |

Nice, love how you're gonna use the ROC figures. I'm definitely gonna use the ROC figs as new characters but haven't decided on who yet. I wanna army build the Zartan for my base MPs and the Pit Commandos too.
Haven't decided if I'm gonna use the 'blue shirts' as Flagg staff or Arctic personnel. Kinda leaning towards Flagg staff. I definitely want another Cover Girl and do a head swap with Baroness for a Dr Knox |

AIRSTRIKE!! Thanks Troy. I was getting it confused with MT's AIRLIFT. (also another great codename)
Which Scarlet are you going to make Mayday. I'm thinking Armor version. Zartan's face is noticible but not too bad. But he comes with another head so I used that one. Dune is also another good name. I have a Dune already. It's a Countdown on a mission Brazil Leatherneck's body. |

And Troynos, I highly recommend the Shipwreck figure. I think he's alot more in line with the SEAL figure you've been waiting for. |

He comes with two heads, one Zartan and one generic trooper. He also has a backpack that can old the spare head. I thought that was a nice nod to the original figure.
And Troynos, I highly recommend the Shipwreck figure. I think he's alot more in line with the SEAL figure you've been waiting for. Yeah, the Zartan will end up being MPs and PIT Techs. The armor version is the best Scarlett. I was thinking of taking that head (the better one) and putting it on the gray camo body and giving her a tact vest and making Mayday that way.

I've seen someone take the 25th comic pack head of Scarlet and put it on the urban camo Scarlett. I'll probably do that since her face is so ugly. I'll use the Armor Scarlett as Mayday.
Shipwreck is a must. He's the definitive version if I've ever seen one. |

Oliver- i love your idea for "striker". Sands is one of my all time favorite movies.
I wont be getting any of the RoC figures but i went to Target yesterday just to check them out. Shipwreck, Deep Six, Sgt. Stone & Desert Duke were the best in my opinion. I immediately thought of Troy when i saw this version of Shippy. If you have trouble finding him up there let me know and i can pick one up for you. |

I'm just happy that Hasbro has finally created a good SEaL figure.

What about Hawk? I haven't got one yet, but I'm sort of partial to my 25th V2 Hawk. What to do with the ROC Hawk?

Now to two figures that I want y'alls opinions about... Desert Duke and Zartan.
They're listing Duke as a Major. He's no longer a First Sgt., he's an officer. And the figure looks a lot like Channing Tatum, that is to say: he doesn't look like any Duke I've ever seen. Now don't get me wrong, it's a great figure. But it doesn't seem like Duke. I'm torn. On the one hand, I'm a little disappointed that they didn't make this Duke a little more like classic Duke. On the other hand, I'm really impressed with the figure, and we need more combat/Special Forces Officers, and in honor of John Wayne's character, maybe Striker should be a Recon Marine Officer. Opinions? So here's what I think: Maybe this is a new character in my Joeverse. Coming up with a reasonable code name is going to be a challenge, but I was thinking of "Striker". Here's why: We all know that Duke's name was an homage to John Wayne. John Wayne's character in "The Sands of Iwo Jima" is Sgt. Striker. This movie figure is wearing Desert Camo, so he'll blend in with the Sand... anyway, it makes sense to me. And there's never been a character named Striker. So I think Major Striker will work OK, but what do you guys think? About Zartan, this new figure has some of the same problems for me. It looks like a neat figure, but it doesn't really say "Zartan" to me. I'm thinking of troop building this figure, and using it as the MP's of my Joe base. What do y'all think? If I use his disguise head, I think it would work pretty well. Well, I'm very interested in what you guys think. These ROC file cards are the pits, but the toys aren't bad at all. We could have ended up with a lot worse. I'm thankful and counting my blessings.
