The Denzel face kicks ass. Nice that you made him AFOSI, I had asked about those guys awhile ago after seeing Rosario Dawson play one in Eagle Eye. Long Arm looks kind of boring in that outfit. It works for Courage cause he's a deskrider for the most part, but Long Arm.. Is there a more "combat-ready" look can give him?
I don't think the COPS (which I agree, had some really cool designs) needs to be so prevalent, but would prefer that over his original look (the neon orange EOD suit just is weird..) especially since it really doesn't work with his codename. Making him a straight up MP is the best usage for him. But he looks like he's getting ready for a parade or riding the desk. I don't think the COPS names in the Joes was meant as a homage as much as it was just using names that Hasbro already owned the copyrights to. Bullet Proof kicks all kinds of ass. First saw the image thought you had kept him as a US Marshall and that look was perfect for that as well. Great job on BP. I'm not liking Long Arm.

Well, I updated him now as per MT's suggestions (see original post). Hope that works for better.

Now he reminds me of a guard in the rain. Looks like he should be standing at attention at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. BTW, if you've never seen the changing of the guard at the Tomb, do so. It's really impressive. The filecard is great, it's just the uniform. It's too formal.

Here's some updates on the Hanger area of Fort Hama.
Overall shot of the office area. From the top to bottom, there's the men's locker and restroom, women's locker and restroom, the pilot's ready room and flight crew break room, the Lead Flight Crew's office, Payload's Corner Office, Ace's Office, and additional storage (the railing in front of the overhead door is removable to provide access to the storage room). That opening in the back will lead to the elevator that will head to the mountaintop control room. Close-up of the Ready Room entrance. Can see the locker room doors are recessed in, the women's is similar to the men's just on the opposite of the wall from the men's entrance. That stair and a railing took forever to do. It wasn't hard to do, just time consuming. Next up will be the level that's above this one, the motor pool. I'm going to wait for awhile to throw the vehicles in, I found that adding all that was what was causing the other fort to bog down alot. Some of those are pretty big files (AC-130.. yeah, I'm looking at you...). Put the roof on. I'm not sure how I want to handle this. I'd like to keep the tops "open" to be able to add stuff later and to make the different spaces more visible. Also being in the mountain, I can have alot of space between roof and floors, as if different sections were cut out at different times. So I think I'll have to play around and see what looks best.

This is looking pretty sweet, Troynos. Can't wait to see when you start adding security measures and weapons defenses.

Man how do you keep it all straight and to scale Troynos? That's alot of detail. Is the door to the Break room a garage door?
I need to go back and look at the overall image, but this is all above ground or below? This level has room for Aircraft I take it. Did you decide to get rid of the runways? I see what looks like a large hanger door in these images which I presume means the aircraft go right outside or to a really big Elevator, if they are underground. |

Zulu, I love Bulletproof, as he seems like a perfect look to a more realistic version. There wouldn't be US Marshalls attached to GIJoe. Not that the Joes wouldn't be good at fighting Drug Dealers, but he works as a USAF guy. Is he holding Handcuffs or a Donut?
I can't say I love the Class B uniforms either. Official or not, this is way better than TANG orange. |

Part of it will be in the mountain face, and part of it will be out.
The first level of the building within the hanger is the equipment/parts storage with garage door access. The Ready Room/Break Room has the 2 sets of windows on either side of the door alcove. The garage door on the upper level is to go into another storage area. I'll post an overall with the runway (only 3000 feet this time, large enough for an AC-130) once I get done putting in the ramps for the motor pool access.

So here's the landscape, the mountain side and surrounding area that the base will be "growing" out of.
So the line that's sticking straight up is approximately where the mountain will hit the base. I'll have to do alot of fine tuning when go to put the base into the landscape. Overall of the base with runway. So here's the motor pool put on top of the hanger and the ramps that lead the vehicles down to the tarmac. I'm not sure yet if the tarmac/runway will be elevated or flat, parts of it probably will be higher then the surrounding ground. But that'll be part of the finetuning once I plop it in. Side view: From outside plane gathering area:

Closer-up of where the ramp comes off the roof of the hanger and the ramp's out of the motor pool.
Side view of the motor pool sitting on top of the hanger. It's about 20 feet above. The other side. Can see the tunnel that'll lead to the control tower which will be high up the mountain side. And looking down onto the start of the motor pool. Can see where the personal elevators and the armory elevator will come thru into the motor pool. The hanger was about 50' high, which is how got the 2 story "office" area. The motor pool is only going to be 25' high.
