If you'll look back 5 or 6 (could be more by now) pages in this thread, you'll see I've provided my ranking system for the Joe team... that may give you a picture of how that all works withing a large Chain of Command. Hope this helps, and if it's still not clear, just ask. I'm glad to help as best I can.

The whole Brazilian Animal Force is weird to me. I think they were all Cobras, but they used the Repeater mold for Urzor. I'm still trying to find Urzxor, and I'd like to use him as a G.I. Joe machine Gunner for my Ranger Detachment because Repeater is with Night Force.
I got mine and I love him. So I watch out for him. though I've lost out on more than 6 bids over the years. It probably goes for about $55-$60 in the end. |

Once you go a little south of the border its hard to not want more though. Escorpio Voador is still a great figure and the quality of the figures is the same. The cards are Crap and I don't speak Portuguese anyway.

Geez... about 10 pages in one day and it's the day I'm at a trade show for work. So much stuff to go back over and comment on I don't know where to begin..
After reading how you guys all have your Joes set up, I need to re-think mine. Of course, my collection of vintage characters pales in comparasion to most of yours (No night force, or tiger force, no Claymore, etc..). So I have to "in-fill" alot of mine on paper. I don't really display my vintage either, but I will be the 25th by the groups. I'm leaning more towards the joes being grouped by speciality and then sub-team. I'm not sure if I'll break up Night Force, Tiger Force or what yet. But I'm leaning towards smaller action groups. Recon Team 1, Recon Team 2, SEaLs, Assault Team 1 (assault teams are made up of 1 fast attack vehicle, 1 tank, and other support vehicles as well as a squad of support troopers), Special Operations, Helicopter Insertion (trying to come up with another name), Rescue, Environment (Desert, arctic). I'll be adding a Pararescueman (Medivac), Marine Force Recon (Lone Wolf), Combatant-Craft Crewman (Waverunner) and Communications Officer (Windtalker) who will be special ops (Dial-Tone and Breaker are part of the Assault teams). Gonna be a bit before get my customs made, need to wait for the parts (most of the PJ is coming from Airborne, and Windtalker will most likely have Airborne's head). I think I'll have Flint and Falcon overseeing the Special Operations teams (Recon, rescue, etc..) and Duke overseeing the assault teams. Not quite sure how it will work out yet. Might replace Duke with Capt. Grid-Iron and have Duke back in the special operations group. An example is my Hostage/Intervention team: Shockblast, Wide Scope, Bull-Horn and not sure who else will round it out. Assault Team 1 (so far) is Clutch, Steeler, Breaker, Footloose, Lifeline Assault Team 2 (so far) is Crankcase, Heavy Metal, Dial-Tone, Grunt, Doc The thinking that the Joes are an elite unit comprised all of the other elite units, and as such they don't operate under the normal command/organizational structure. The other idea is that this allows the team to be spread out across the globe for rapid deployment (1 teams, recon, assault, etc.. could be based in North America, 2 teams could be European based and 3 teams could be Asian based; with SEaLs and Marine detachments based on the FLAGG for deployment as needed; Hostage, Rescue would be based on the FLAGG as well but operate under Flint/Falcon). What do you guys think?

"Fruit Salad" refers to his awards/ribbons on his chest. Awards and ribbons are often referred to as "fruit salad" because they're colorful. Also, personal achievement badges like Airborne Wings, Pathfinder Badges, HALO wings, or Air Assault Wings, etc... those are commonly known as "Chest Candy". I soldier with a lot of "Chest Candy" is usually considered to be very qualified and "High Speed".

Intelligene operatives work under Claymore (who is stationed on the FLAGG with a "roving" team, who deploy to help support the local operatives) Intelligence teams work with the 1, 2 and 3 teams and usually include the operative and an analyst that works out of the base.

Its still a terrible sentence. What an idiotic word to use. You know that sentence tore up kids who read it.
