I always wondered why they didn't do more with some of the Joes as far as releasing new looks for some and not others and then forgetting to update information for many of the team

Yeah I've gotten the Special Forces and Special Operations confused before, so thanks for the reminder. Do you think, though, that Stalker IS a green beret and Hama just didn't mention that he is SF qualified, figuring fans would assume he is due to his beret, or is there something else in his file that would restrict him from being one?
Every other Joe who I've listed as a Green Beret has been specifically listed as being Special Forces. Claymore is another Joe whose qualifications would make him a great choice for SF. Roadblock's role in the comic and his affiliation with Duke and Flint make it likely that he's a Green Beret as well... it's just not conclusive. Stalker is simply never listed as having any SF qualifications, however, it should be noted that the LRRPs in 'Nam were considered to be almost as elite as the Green Berets. LRRPs were the very best of the Ranger Regiment. It was almost like comparing apples and oranges. Both LRRPs and SF were very good, but they focused on different missions.

Tallcreeper, I agree, they could have easily put some of the core figs in different environment-themed roles. Especially Torpedo and Wet Suit. The comics did this, but no really good figures were made of them outside of diver suits. The ones that were made just aren't impressive.

Have you ever read the book Sniper I believe it is called about the marine sniper Sgt. Hatchcock in Viet Nam? He uses a 50 cal with a scope as a sniper platform and picks guys off from his spot on a hill. I couldn't believe reading about it as he would press down on the butterfly trigger

So as far as we know Beachhead (Now a Green Beret) Falcon, Duke, Flint, and Drop Zone are the only Confirmed cases of Green Beretitis?

Thanks, buddy. You're very kind. I think a lot of guys on here are pretty knowledgeable. You are certainly one of them.

Roadblock seems to be the most likely candidate among the list of unconfirmed SF guys based on the Comic book.
