I think there's one coming out next year about G.I. Joe characters. It's supposed to be a lot more comprehensive than just file cards. I'm really looking forward to it.

Ever noticed the typo on the last few lines of Snake Eyes' 1985 card?

Well that changes things. I don't know why they didn't make that Beachhead Sabretooth instead. I imagine they wanted to sort of do the same thing with Wreckage. Anytime I see a balaclava wearing joe in Tiger Force I immediately think of the never produced Sabretooth.
Speaking of weird Tiger Force Figures... does anybody else put "Tiger Paw" with Tiger Force as the marital arts expert of the team. I know, I know they already have Jinx, but c'mon. Also, I use my original Claymore with Tiger Force because his outfit is crazy and it fits best with that team. What do you guys think of that? I have three other custom Claymores that I use for other missions.

or "accustomed to" or "in the habit of". Not really a normal part of speech any more. usually, when I hear what sounds like "wont" it's just the informal contraction of "Will Not" - as in, Snake-Eyes 'won't' kill a small animal.

Eh, I didn't really suppose you were the one suggesting it was a typo; didn't mean to imply that. And it is still a word, though perhaps less common than it once was. I would also think "wont" and the contraction "won't" should be pronounced drastically differently, but then, I suppose accents can do weird things.

Pararescue: Well, when I look at the official USAF Pararescue insignia, it's an Angel holding the world. Their motto is "So Others May Live". What about code name: "Angel" or "Wings" ? Their unofficial logo is a footprint and their called "PJ's", so what about code name "Big Foot" or "PJ" ?
Fore Recon: Any Marine related name would work. Loose Cannon and I have suggested a few. I like "Raider" because Force Recon is sort of based on the Marine Raiders from WW2. "KA-Bar" is a good one. "Jarhead" would work. "Devil Dog". What about "Semper Fi"? Force Recon Marines are often referred to as "Operators"... I think "Operator" has a nice ring to it, if you'll pardon the pun... he could even be a field communications specialist (radio man). "Double Tap" is a pretty fierce name. "Scope" or "Sights" for a sharpshooter. "Scout"... he could sort of be like the Brad Pitt character from Spy Games. Marine snipers are called "Scout Snipers" and you could even make him an Eagle Scout like Footloose. Those are just some ideas. Maybe they'll help. Longshot--a marine or ex Delta-Force sniper Sharkbite--Navy SEAL (not in diver outfit) Fastrope--a ranger or helicopter assault trooper PJ--pararescue |

I will be buying that book as soon as it comes out. I hope they do some nice research into putting it together properly and it would be nice if they looked here for some advice about it.

I would think you would be a slam dunk for that job with all of your knowledge and resources. That would really be cool to work that job and be able to ask questions to add some real fans ideas
