If you're a big Spirit fan, you should look for the carded Canadian V1 Spirit. Spirit was renamed as "Shaman" when he was sold in Canada, and I always thought it was a much much better codename for him.

If you want to join the military and you're an expert gamer, go be a "pilot" for one of the UAVs (guy I work with, his son is doing that in the Army, training at Fort Bragg or Bening can't remember which, now).

Where do you get your international figures from? And what do they normally run compared to US vintage? Sadly, my Joe budget is going to be taking a major hit soon (if all works out like it should).

One other note about International figures: UK Spirit. Has anyone noticed this figure? It's v1 Spirit repainted in Night Force Colors. It's pretty cool. I'm thinking of using him with v2 Low-Light as unofficial "off the book" members of Night Force. Their paint jobs match pretty perfectly with the '88/'89 Night Force Team. And I think Spirit and Low-Light would make a great team.
That's an interesting look for Spirit. Yeah, he and Low-Light would make a great sniper/spotter team.

If you're looking for International Figures on ebay, you will pretty much pay through the nose. I'm not kidding. Don't expect a bargain. International figures are worse than buying original Night Force figures. One thing you can/should do is to check the ebay sites of other countries. For example, check the UK's ebay site. It's different from the US's ebay. Check Canada and Ireland and Brazil and Belgium; I've gotten a lot from Belgium. Germany and Italy are pretty good. You'll still pay, but I have paid less by buying it directly from Europe or Brazil.

Other than the code name, is there any difference in the way the figure looks? Is the paint job different?

Yeah, All ebay is really the same. So your ebay login for the US will work in almost every other county's ebay site. The language is the only real problem, but it's not that hard to figure out with the pictures and a lot of the listings also have it written in English. Once you find a listing, just "watch it" under your ebay account, and then when you go back to the US site, it will still be there - and the currency will be converted for you.
There's this one guy in Belgium who is great. Very helpful and friendly. Shipping is expensive, but where else are you going to find this stuff?

Good score on the international figures OB. I've gotten a few good ones myself: TF Outback, Urzor and Alpinista. I'd love to get the TF Airtight (Ar Puro?) and Retaguarda (Repeater), but I've never even seen one on ebay.

Not that I know of. It's just the card, I guess, that's worth getting for the novelty value.
