Thanks. We're planning on making a 4 or 5 piece set of Snake-Eyes custom figures representing the significant phases in his life as based on the Marvel comics continuity, and I wanted to make sure of the distinction between each chapter in his life, just so I have a clear picture in my mind of the character's evolution as we work on the customs and write up the file cards and draw/digitally paint & airbrush the card art.

Yeah, long as you don't include DDP, that'll screw it all up, lol

Yeah reaaaalllly screwed it up! Him and Cobra Commander are buddies playing Punisher for a few months, when Storm Shadow picks him up finally. Sort of a lost year I guess. But then CC's drop off the deep end makes less sense without him blaming SE for the death of his brother. And the death of the Hard master, and Firefly and Zartan,......Jeez DDP screwed that one up pretty good. I found everything else mostly enjoyable and at least believable as it filled in gaps but that SE declassified was almost unreadable since it didn't fit with the rest and SE sounded like a pussy when he had speaking roles.

I just started going through YoJoe and reading old filecards, and I guess this isn't a secret, but Hit and Run's parents were killed ina hit and run, kinda odd.

You know I never drew the correlation. I just figured he was Light Infantry and he liked Running. I wonder if Larry wrote that card because that's a Larry move. Double entendre seems so Larry.

Zulu, your Snake Eyes timeline is very good, except for one thing. The Snake Eyes Trilogy recounts his exploits in 'Nam with Stalker, Storm Shadow, and the future Baroness. Larry set these events as occuring right after the Tet Offensive, which if memory serves me correctly was in 1969. Without this, of course, your timeline still makes sense and is much "neater", so to speak. Just my 2 cents.

Starting work on the team's staff officers:
Cutter & Psyche-Out notes: - I updated Cutter's uniform to reflect the current Coast Guard ODU (Operational Dress Uniform). It looks like when the Navy switched to digital blue-and-gray camo for their NWUs, the Coast Guard inherited the old blue BDUs - I've designated Cutter as the team's S4 (Logistics Officer). I think it make sense in that the Coast Guard works a lot with the Department of Transportation. This gives the team access not just to conventional military logistics channels, but civilian channels as well. - I designated Psyche-Out as the team's S2 (Intelligence Officer). In smaller units (battalion size or smaller), the S2 is also in charge of information operations (which covers military deception operations -- Psyche-Out's original "job" in the 1987 filecard). - That humoungous helmet on Psyche-Out's head is a modified image of the so-new-it's-barely-declassified AHMD (Advanced Head Mounted Display) built by L-3 Communications for the Department of Defense. Currently, the helmet is being used mostly for flight training, but it's also in limited use by C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) personnel. The helmet has two high-resolution projectors mounted on either side, and these put up images against two large clear composite panels that serve as screens. The AHMD is more than just a fancy dual monitor system, though. Internal gyroscopes determine the relative position of the wearer's head. This allows the AHMD to coordinate the projected displays with user head movements, enabling motion-activated input and "virtual reality" 3D immersion. With the appropriate transmission link-ups, this feature can also allow users to remotely control cameras mounted on UAVs and other unmanned vehicles.
