I'll get one but still not a big fan of it.

Sorry, it's the Hummer HX, or H4. It's got a slanted back.
If they make one for the Joes, I'll buy it. It looks pretty cool.

Zuludelta, I had a question about your file cards. The other night I was reading Flint and Chuckles and I noticed how you had changed Flint's education. You had him graduating from Wichita State, and there was no mention of his Rhodes Scholarship. Also, you had Chuckles listed as having an Associates Degree from a Community College. I'm interested to know how you made these choices? What was the purpose?
With Chuckles, since there was no mention on his original filecard about significant post-high school education, I just went with the minimum requirements for entry into the Army CID Warrant Officer program (which is an Associate's degree). I'd always gotten the impression that his expertise came from the "school of hard knocks" more than any formal educational insititution, what with the mention of him working out of some hole-and-corner insurance investigation firm prior to enlisting. Anyway, I have him as a holder of two associate's degrees, including one from the DLI, which is probably the leading foreign language training institute in North America and he's got a ton of specialty education/training to his name, so his accumulated technical education probably exceeds that of a bachelor's degree holder. |

I'm really excited about the repainted Para-Vipers. They're all blacked out... they look great. I probably own 2 dozen Para-Vipers right now. I'll probably buy about 6 of these new guys...
If Para-Vipers are the Navy SEALs of Cobra, these new Black Para-Vipers will be my SEAL Team 6.

With regards to Flint, that was an oversight on my part. I'd totally forgotten about the Rhodes scholarship detail on his original file. I'll correct it soon enough.

The Agency is pretty picky about who works for them, and they tend to recruit at some pretty good schools. Although, they don't always recruit at Ivy League Schools. I know they recruit at the University of South Carolina's Business School, as well as the University of Washington in Seattle. Univ. of Arkansas, Fayetteville is a great public university. And I realize that a CID Warrant officer only requires an Associates degree, but with his work with CIA, I figure he's got more than the minimum. Just my opinion.

I see Chuckles as being more of a street smarts kind of guy then a classroom educated guy.

He also probably has a minor in some enemy language like Russian, Chinese, or Arabic and can also probably speak French and Spanish. He probably majored in Criminal Justice. I'm just saying that the guy went to college and that doesn't mean he isn't a tough guy with a lot of street smarts. College does not preclude street smarts... and the University of Arkansas ain't Harvard. Flint and every other Officer in G.I. Joe has at least a 4-year degree. Aren't they tough? A lot of NCO's in the Army have a bachelor's degree. I'm just saying, to do what Chuckles does, one would need a decent, well rounded education. You don't have to have a Ph.D., but you might need to know how to use a salad fork or a soup spoon. Just my opinion.

Didn't mean they were mutualy exclusive. I just don't see Chuckles as being a college man.

Yeah the Havoc is crazy... "Let's make a vehicle where the main guns don't traverse". Even Hama made fun of it in the comic.
The Mauler, and later the Patriot Grizzly were great. The Night Attack Chopper is awesome. Just a hint of fantasy... they're realistic, but you know they're not real. Yay nostalgia! I'd probably buy a re-release if they did one of the modern era line, sad to say.
