Two more Joes (click on the pictures to read the filecards in a new tab):
As I mentioned previously, I've re-purposed Dial-Tone as an Air Force tactical air controller/JTAC. Not quite as drastic as making him female, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if the change engenders some negative reactions from the character's fans. I think it's in keeping with the spirit of the character, though (and it gives some context to the black beret worn by the original figure... Air Force TACPs wore black berets long before the Army decided to use them as standard headgear). Tripwire is pretty much unchanged from his original design besides the shift to ACU camo and bulkier, real-world body armour. Last edited by zuludelta; 04-22-2009 at 05:04 AM.. |

Like always, those pics look awesome.
All the organization and thought everyone else has put into their stuff puts mine to shame. Great work.

So, random - I slipped and fell down my stairs last night and ruptured the patella tendon in my left knee, which hurt (a bit) and caused my kneecap to bounce up into my left thigh. I'm off of work until we can find out about surgery options.
Since the computer is upstairs and I'm confined to downstairs, I won't be on as much.

Hopefully, the injury isn't so severe that it will require extensive surgery and extended convalescence. |

Damn, that sounds painful. I've dislocated my left kneecap three times: the first time, I managed to tear my left lateral meniscus to go with the subluxation while training for a half-marathon; the next time was horribly embarassing, I dislocated it while trying to pull off some stupid b-boy move on the dance floor; and the third time was from riding a shopping cart like a skateboard down the street and crashing onto the pavement, (hey, my friends and I were drunk and we were bored... I think one of them even uploaded the video on YouTube). It's painful and a hassle to recover from.
Hopefully, the injury isn't so severe that it will require extensive surgery and extended convalescence. I have an appointment with the orthopedic doctor on Friday - hopefully we'll find out about surgery & recovery then.

I always saw Flint as more of a Witchita State grad, and that the reason it wasn't listed is because he didn't talk a lot about it. Maybe he was on the Football team when the program went away.
